Bands you may hav listened 2 when u were 12 or something, stuff that mite b considered lame but u actually love, come on time to confess...
The only bands I remember really being into were Weezer and Green Day; I got shit for liking Weezer until Make Believe came out, which then I began to give people a hard time for liking songs like, "Beverly Hills." :)
I still love to listen to the occasional hit from the 90s, songs like "Take A Picture" by Filter and "That Thing" by Lauryn Hill. In response to Lauryn Hill, I don't know what comes over me, hahaha.
Hehe, Weezer r d shit dude, u shuldnt b ashamed of dem.
I proly hav 2 many 2 mention
Linkin Park springs to mind, i still listen 2 the occasional song *embarrased*
u hav 2 admit theyre well crafted if over produced eg hybrid theory
Please speak english, not SMS....
It's getting ridiculous !
woteva LOL
In all seriousness though, tarkil, to me that smacks of élitism. But nevertheless, request is met, standard English for your viewing pleasure. I expect the same in return. ;)
You're doing all of us a favor.
I don't get what is wrong with abbreviating words, as long as they're understood. Makes more sense 2 me, whoops apologies, I mean "to me".
Well, they're not understood by me, plus they make me do some efforts when I read them, which I don't like cause I'm lazy....
Thanks for your consideration though
fair enough, i'll try and make it a bit clearer, jus i'm lazy too haha
I definitely rock out to a 30 Seconds to Mars song every now and again on my iPod. I felt like a chick downloading it .... (sigh)
i used to listen to The Presidents of the United States of America constantly. and a lot of Hootie, Kid Rock, and Tag Team
guilty pleasure right now would be the new Finger 11 song Paralizer

Those bastids are weird!!! I saw Finger 11 in concert two weeks ago .. they opened for Chevelle. Seriously.. they were on some sort of fucking drug and I would pass if they handed it out free.. Paralizer is pretty much the only decent song they did...... oh and that other song "One Thing" .... but all in all.. they blow.
the only gulilty pleasure i had was sticking my finger up my ass.
that's good to know ;)

I have many guilty pleasures:
Justin Timberlake - the dude can sing.
Jewel - Pieces of me still does it.
Duran Duran - Nu-metal made them cool! Ordinary World is my girlfriend and my song - plus we nail it live :)
Hair-Metal - enough said.
I was really into KoRn when i was 14-15 and i still put them on my stereo sometimes.
yeh i'm down with korn

i've lost all hope and faith in korn, its been so long since i've listened to any of my korn cds. its a shame though, korn was a really great band.
Alien Ant Farm
Papa Roach
Limp Bizkit
alanis morrisette
gwen stefani

I have a love for the majority of 80s music (Duran Duran, Tears For Fears, Roxy Music). Is that really a guilty pleasure though?
People also tell me that AFI should be one of my guilty pleasures. I tell them to fuck off hah!
I've really like Phill Collins for quite a while... And I was all into Trance and Hardcore for a very long time, that was before I really was getting into Metal and such.. (bad, bad, bad I know...)
Eurovision songs
I love them and hate them at the same time.
And when I was a kid I was a fan of Spice Girls...but then they broke up and broke my heart....so sad.

maybe that's why I like genesis so now and then. Phill Collins has a great voice, and he's a really nice kinda person I think. But does somebody know in which band Phill Collins has played the drumm?
savage garden sefltitled lawl
Stabbing Westward. What can I say, dammit, Dark Days is pretty rock solid.
And Deftones. Definitely Deftones.
i wouldnt feel guilty bout the Tones. I love Bjork though but I wont listen to them around most of my friends.
Foreigner
80s hair metal in general.

HEAD AUTOMATICA
bringing this shit back, since I've got a few that I've been listening to lately. I'm afraid to play these in the presence of my friends/family:
Lady Gaga
Roxy Music
Katy Perry
I fucking hate the Black Eyed Peas and believe they are everything wrong with music......but I do like the song BOOM BOOM POW. Shhh
I get a lot of curry off my mate's for digging "novelty rock".
But I've always listened to vocals first ,and music second - so I can look past shitty(ish) tunes if the lyrics make me laugh.
But I seriously cannot understand how anybody can dislike Tenacious D, Flight of the Conchords, and TISM (for those Aussies out there).
I'm so big on Kanye West and have been forever, though very secretly!
Kanye and Deftones are on constant replay for me. It's kind of odd to others but it works perfect for me!
I don't care, Kanye's good at what he does, especially his last album. I'm not ashamed of listening to his stuff.
AFI
Our Lady Peace
some Weezer
assorted rap
let me see...
Panda
My Chemical Romance with the album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
and i think that's all at the moment lol,..
Hopefully the trolling is not gonna be too devastating, but I am enjoying the new Anberlin album ;)
Honestly I like all their albums, something I cannot say about too many bands. Weird. Now you understand why I had to bump this.

that shouldn't make you feel guilty.
I like some of Avenged Sevenfold's songs.
Sure, they look like morons...but c'mon, don't tell me Bat Country and Afterlife aren't catchy as fuck.
They're pretty good live too.
Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country "Live in the LBC" DVD (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SFntk7N9ZQ#ws)
As far as A7X goes, it's all about Waking the Fallen.
And Lily Allen is awesome. Been digging her, Nicole Atkins, Minaj (don't hate me), and Lana Del Rey lately.
Woah there, dude. Don't you dare call Nicole Atkins a guilty pleasure!
I don't normally like female singers, but she is just amazing. I mean, her idols are Roy Orbison and David Lynch. So beautiful, so talented.
yeah dude, sorry to lump her in this thread. was just an example of some of the pop/female singers I've been listening to lately.
Kreayshawn.
Justin bieber and Taylor swift from time to time
Whitney Houston
Deadmau5
LapFox Trax (Renard, more specifically) [url][http://www.lapfoxtrax.com//url]
Cake
Psy (more than Gangnam Style... ::))
Elton John
Katy Perry (from time to time)
That's all off the top of my head....
I'm reviving this thread with a song i've been super stoked on lately after hearing it again for the first time in so long. I wouldn't' say i feel guilty about it though, I really think it's a rocking song.

You guys all know about my Katy Perry obsession, so I'll spare you. But hey here's a different pop song. Admittedly, it's still the only Rihanna song I can even listen to without wanting to jump out a window.
Rihanna - Stay ft. Mikky Ekko (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JF8BRvqGCNs#ws)
Rihanna has a few good songs, plus those amazing cakes.
