deftones always got us used to have other musicians in their songs. Whom were you choosing to sing with Chino in the new album?
I would love one of them:
Sade.
Trent R.
Thom Yorke.
probably someone for cali
Maynard should come back but he never will.
I'm not bothered if they have a guest or not, to me it means nothing. The two guests on the last album added nothing.
it means nothing, yeah. but are great songs with guests: head up or passenger.
they can creat good stuff with other people.
i reckon they should do another track with the lady on knife party

I concur, I'd like chi to do a song. :) hes got all those poems... :P
I would fucking love to hear a collaboration with Brandon Boyd.
that would be awesome.
i loved their performance of BQAD with adam sandler.
Boyd should make an appearance on the next album... that would make me cream.
though the chances for that it will happen is, like, 0%
björk would be cool/weird thought...

hell yea. second!
i was also thinking the guys from idiot pilot, rodleen again from knife prty, or the chick from denali. bjork sounds really really sweet tho!
michael jackson.
i'm serious. His aggro voice is hardcore.

i like the robert smith selection, i think david bowie would work well to. really though i just want a good record
ohhh David Bowie! Yeah!

how awesome would that be.
I want Rey Osburn on a track where he does a different kind of part than Chino.
Also, Patton.
Other than that, don't know, depends onwho's right for whatever they're doing really.
im totally thinking it would be so nice to have a record with the metallic energy of ATF, on a heavy electronica-like pulse, accompanied by some sweet lead riffs from stef!!
also im totally thinking we need a new "new album" thread for all this!! how bout it Modifiers?!?!

yeah, I don't get why people want a bunch of guests on the album. I'm fine with them doing songs with other people outside of their albums but they should really keep the album guests to a minimum.
I do love Passenger and Knife Prty though.

Billy Corgan, Howard Jones and Skin would be cool.
Rather Chino on Skin's record, but, I totally hear them together.
we would all love to see and hear head on the next deftones disc. chino and head both loves jesus and head has got mad singing skills, remember low rider?
Robert Smith
makes sense to me
Billy Corgan
Sade
Mike Patton
Dave Mustaine, singing on a really heavy track with Chino \m/
while Stef & Dave unleash sick ass metal riffs/leads, switch on & off
Robert Smith is a really good idea also
id like them to have a guest. but not vocalist. id like massive attack to do their beat oriented song. and have chino sing some crazy shit over it
.... on a team sleep record

no one can stop us now man....no one. lets revert to trivial grunts. it will become inherent in our predecessors, in our kids and grandchildren- they'll sing of incoherence. terrestrially futile we will become and resume forever. the party is within! war is peace. freedom is slavery. ignorance is strength. love is ruin. god is power. hope is futile.
GEORDIE WALKER from killing joke!!! I've listened to his demos on myspace and is guitar playing would totaly fit with the Deftones.
On vocals maybe Paul Banks should guest ^^.
Mariah Carey or Rick Asley

I can imagine a really weird live mash up, something like knife prty, and then in the bridge (I mean rodleen's part) rick roll appears and does the thing he's known for.
