I watched "Alfie" the other day, what a piece of shit, I guess the only good thing is Sienna Miller, but not even with she showing her boobs the movie worths something...
so yeah the first movie in this crappy list is Alfie.
I'll be posting more later for sure
A Force of One - a chuck norris movie... definately worth watching though, for laughs
I wouldn't say they are the worst, but the two movies that stick in my mind for being a bit pedestrian were Superbad and the Bourne Ultimatum. Just compared to the others I've watched this year. I actually attempted to watch that Gigli movie and the few minutes that I watched that were painful, so there's my nomination.

QuoteCrippled Masters (1982)
When you say crippled kung fu, people listen. When you think crippled kung fu, this is the first film that usually comes to mind. It's the legendary, one of a kind (except for the three other movies with these actors) motion picture that truly demonstrates what a crippled martial artist can do. It stars the great Wang Hop and the amazing Ka Hai as the two cripples who form a strange bond as a result of their mutual afflictions, thanks to the power-mad warlord who gave the orders to have them both crippled for life. Wang Hop's arms are chopped off because of his supposed disloyalty, but we're not given the chance to see what it is exactly that he does, since the movie starts off with a close up of his arm getting hacked off. Hardly a threat now that he is considered useless, he's then left to bleed in the hot sun. Then, through a wicked twist of irony, Ka Hai, as one of the warlord's henchmen, who looked on laughing as Hop's arms were severed, has his legs brutally disfigured by a healthy dose of acid. He is pushed down a hill and left for dead. That's when the magic happens. Wang and Ka meet again and eventually put their differences aside in order to get the ultimate revenge against the man responsible for the shape they're in. And that revenge, as you can imagine, is a violent and definite death for the evil warlord.
This movie is a nonstop barrage of amazing crippled kung fu techniques that climaxes with the legless Ka Hai jumping on the back of the armless Wang Hop, forming the ultimate gimp fu, revenge-minded, killing machine! If you only see one crippled kung fu film, see this one, but if you ask me, don't see only one; see them all!

no, not the worst movie ever, but i had really high expectations and it failed in my mind. the movie essentially ends halfway through and attempts to start again, but it never really succeeds. it's a clear knock off of "Mystic River" in both setting and themes, and where "Mystic" was great with revenge vs morality, GBG fizzled.
plus, it's one more reason why ben affleck is a failure in hollywood.
Ok.. this may not be the worst movie ever...
But...
Aliens Vs. Predator Requiem sucked ass!
I was so excited and hyped up about seeing it, because of my love for the first AVP movie... and the whole Alien series. However, this movie was a complete let down. I can't even believe that almost $20 bucks was wasted on viewing such crap.

Everybody - critics, fans, etc. - overlooks/doesn't like so much Jackie Brown. I've got a huge attachment to it though for some reason, so much so I now prefer over others. But as Jonas said, Tarantino does not deserve to be here. Even though Death Proof was a disappointment...

the previews looked horrible!
just like Death Race with Jason Statham....that movie looks absolutely horrible. even Ian McShane won't save that movie
Well...I wont say worst EVER,but The Eye and Harold and Kumar 2 was pretty wretched.
didnt mind harold and kumar 2...rob corddry made it enjoyable to me.
statham has been in some pretty lame films so what would you expect from death race?

i saw 20 minutes of a film called "nukem' high" yesterday. That might be the worst film ever.
What the hell? Doomsday the most horrible film ever? It's cool as ass. It doesn't take itself serious, it's over the top, it's fun. Jason Statham in shitty movies? Transporter series is cool as fuck. Death Race looks like a pretty cool remake of 1975's cult classic.
You cunts need to loosen the hell up and watch movies for their entertainment value.

Well, Planet Terror was more like a tribute to the old B-horror zombie flicks.
I loved it.
The Troma movies are just bad for the sake of being bad.
yeah but its not like they thought Planet Terror would actually be a good movie. They purposely paid tribute to a bad genera of movies. So I kind of see it as the same thing. I mean it was a well done piece of crap. But I still wouldn't purposely watch it again.

Uh, hellz yes its about Thermopile. It's a Steven Pressfield book. I don't know if you have ever read any of his books (But treat yourself if you haven't) he writes historical fiction.
Gates of fire is written in the first person from the prospective of one of the Spartan slaves ( I know that's not the proper term, he wasn't really a slave, I just cant think of it right now. But he was like a servant to the Peers you know) who went to Sparta for refuge. So its really more about Spartan culture and history more than the actual battle. Because you are with the boy as he grows up over the years in Sparta. But in the end, his master was one of the 300 and so he also went to the "hot gates" with the Peers.
It's the best book I have ever read. Its amazing. And unlike 300, it is very historically accurate.
I saw 'Tropic Thunder' last weekend and it sucked. I was pissed I spent 7 dollars on that shit.

I hear you. It was very abrupt and I would like to see more adaptations in the future that follow the other storylines. Does anyone else miss the days of the miniseries? the only good scene i have in mind is the scene, where a cop has to learn how to tell a story the gangster-way. in its self-ironic way it pretty much sums up y i dislike those movies. cause the dialogues are way to much constructed , dont fit into a story and en plus they make the charactes not believable

how can anyone say that it was one of the worst movies ever? un;ess you were expecting some academy award winning drama...
I am a stoner and I was stoned when I watched this movie and I didnt really have any expectations going in, but this movie fucking sucked ass. It was at no point funny, entertaining, or even watchable. I was actually pissed off while watching. All the jokes fell completely flat, the plot was beyond ridiculous (which is ok, but this was just inexcusable), The villains were stupid idiots for no apparent reason and their interactions between each other were beyond unbelievable to the point of insult. The whole "Were best friends" ending made me want to cut out my eyes and let an elephant smash them. And damn near everything else about this movie angered me (the fat, completely unfunny guy gets shot like 5 times and is eating breakfast, not funny, terrible). I dont think ive ever seen a movie that actually ruined my whole day before, but this one did

Plan 9 from Outer Space, or any Ed Wood film really.
And if you ever get a chance, watch Criminally Insane, a.k.a. "Crazy Fat Ethel." It's hilarious...and SO bad!
yeah but Tim Burton's Ed Wood was pretty good
That's one movie I really want to find and watch. I've never seen it. :-\
I think Ed Wood as a person was intriguing; his films, however, are not.
Ed had no technical ability as a filmaker, he sucked.
Ive got a couple of Ed Wood movies i found, "bride of the monster" and "Plan 9..." and they are watchable, but not any good at all...they dont even end up making any sense. Wood was part hustler, part dreamer.

oh yeah i think the good definitly outways the bad. even when he is in a bad movie his role is classic. like "Greed" the ben stiller jack black movie (mentioned above), the movie wasn't good but walken's little character was great. the prophecy is one of favorite movies.
i loved the prophecy (tho the sequles left a lot to be desired, i expected so much more screen time from danzig in II)!
To quote one of my favorite movie lines ever (from Greed): "Up your ass with Mobil gas"
"good for you, good FOR you" (Greed) i loved that line. just the way walken says it is gold.
here a part of the worst turkish film ever...you gotta watch it
http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=26599581667&ref=nf
dialogs :
- you are a human. you should use your power for goodness
the worst film i recently saw was The Guardian with Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher.
holy shit, what a cliché clusterfuck that was.
