dude, seriously, it's been so goddamn cold these last couple months, like the wind chill has gotten down to 40 below on several occasions and the low is like -55 (wind chill). right now it's clear and -9 with a brisk -35 degree wind. it's been chapping my ass almost as much as my lips, let me tell you.

The weather has been quite nice in the UK over the last week or so until a few days ago when it started to get really misty. But it's not that cold, wet or windy which is kinda odd for the UK this time of year.
we had a great winter, barely any snow and not that cold at all. but over the last few weeks it's been getting colder and it's been snowing a lot. it really sucks when you think you've made it through the winter this year and then blam!

it's kind of true, because everybody knows that Autumn is the best season. But I do really like some parts of the winter.

I was in oahu last summer for a school. Had a blast. I was thinkng about getting stationed there but people on the island kind of talked me out of it. Said that the island just got really small after a while. But if I dont get pendleton then I say fuck it and I probably will do oahu.
Yup, if you get cabin fever then you won't like Oahu. However, if you can learn to use the small island for all needs, then it's the best place to be. For instance, camping on Diamond Head, trips to North Shore - I don't surf there, maybe once I move and get more experience under my jock strap.
We had a high of 72 degrees yesterday and an expected high of 28 today.
I don't even hate winter; I just want it to feel like one season.

nah, i'm just a poor college student that really only has a budget for eating and getting fucked up. it's rather limiting in the context of international travel. but i am most likely going to spain in the fall for a semester, so that should be a good change of pace to say the least.

the little one at the bottom is just one that I bought because the knife I brought with me got stolen, or lost, and that's all they had at the PX at the time. The one in the middle is the auto striker. I love it. And the K-bar on top is one i carry on my plate carrier pretty much for the same reason you bought that dive knife. Intimidation factor. But then again if would fucking flip out with joy if I got to kill someone with it, so I carry it for that too.
Reminds me of a story one of my good friends told me from one of his experiences in Iraq. I cant remember exactly how the whole thing went down but some how this guy from his force platoon ended up in a fight with an Iraqi in a river. And for some reason he either couldn't get to his weapon or it wouldn't fire or something and the Iraqi was coming at him hard so he just reached for his gerber and stabbed him in the neck with it and killed him......I mean how fucking cool is that? im pretty sure no matter what I do I cant top that.

I said no, they didn't assume me because I knew to walk instead of looking guilty by running... A mile away the cops caught up to me but I ran into a contruction site and hid for an hour...

some things in there are more like guidelines, at least for me. if we stuck to each little word in there you'd be banned by now together with a shitload of other members. they are there to deal with especially troublesome situations so that we have something to back us up with.

well the medical environment I work in is more like tombstone meet house, not MASH though, im not a poge. But I mean its a combat zone. But when I actually worked in a civilian ER........hm I guess ER because it was an ER and from the little I have watched of Greys, there is waaaaayyyyyy too much drama. But one fallacy of the TV show ER is how often the doctors actually touch the Patients. Nurses do all the work, doctors just dictate.
If you want to see a fairly good depiction of what the medical side of my job is like "band of brothers" does a good job. I think its episode 6 "bastone". But I have a gun and he didn't.
