I love this game so far. the story line is really intricate, almost like a movie. I love any game that can make me laugh, too. The dialogue is so funny sometimes
i got some good news today.. i finally updated my playstation 3 software at my friends house.. the system still wasnt reading discs so i called sony
heres how it works..
they are gonna send me a box in the next few days ( so that i dont get charged for shipping )
i take it to the post office with my playstation 3 in it
then they send me a new system. or they will repair mine
anyway. i still wasnt too happy cause i figured id be waiting forever
but i asked the person i spoke with on the phone. just to give me an idea of how long it would take.. and basically i should have my system back in about a month ( which isnt bad at all compared to how long i thought id have to wait )
i must admit. if all goes well. i will highly recommend sony to people. cause so far they have really taken care of the problem. ( really they should cause i pumped over a thousand bucks into them when i bought the system controller and games )

would you really pick saints row 2 over gta IV. I myself played through saints row and enjoyed it, but there's a class difference between the two series.
Saint's Row 2 looks more colorful, GTA IV looks gloomy, and i dont hav xbox live, i like playing with my little brothers but GTA IV has no split screen, Saint's Row 2 does
Whatever floats your boat. I strongly advise you to pick gta IV up at some point in time though.
Damn PS3 multiplayer is failing from time to time.

I have to admit, Saint's Row was an AWESOME game, you could customize your character with all sorts of shit, customize cars...tons of stuff. I'll pick up Saint's Row 2 when it comes out too.

i just played again and i really had no problem with the controls..
for some reason. my first time playing i didnt realize just how amazing the graphics are.
for example. i walked into a back alley with like a garage and parking area. and i saw these 2 crackheads hitting there pipes and then putting them away quick. then they asked me for money. so i broke his nose of course
another great example which had me laughing. was that i stole a car. and realized the person driving had stolen the vehicle himself. so as i was fighting him. i ended up hitting someone off a motorcycle. when the guy from the motorcycle came to fight me.. the original guy looked at me and bikerguy fighting so hopped on the motorcycle and stole that instead.. it was great
this random for some reason pulled me out of my car earlier and started beating me up. cops were there and started shooting him. it was awesome. then i killed the cops.

I wouldn't recomend Sony to people at all. I was battling their UK customer support for ever over my broken Walkman a couple years ago.
i'll rephrase that to sony in the usa.. cause i also read people having problems over seas
anyway.. gta IV is great... i agree. its not deserving this greatest game ever title.. those were made in the nintendo days.. but the game is just astonishing... im so happy they basically made it like gta 3. since that was the best in the series.. totally pushing the limits at that time..

My boyfriend already went and got me a used one from gamestop earlier today so I think Im going to try that, and then if microsoft does replace it I will just trade that ho in for someting else for him.
ETA: Microsoft basically told me to suck it and call Take 2 or Rockstar and see what they have to say about it. They said since was damaged due to the 360 they wont do shit to replace it. Was worth a shot I guess.
Get back onto Microsoft. It was their faulty product that fucked your shit up. Gamestop could back you up on the faulty 360 seeing as they switched it for you, thus accepting it was fucked.

Microsoft's customer service is a crapshoot. You may get lucky and talk to someone who does their job right and tries to really help you. Then you can get an asshole who tells you it's hopeless and will find any reason not to help you.
Dude said microsoft doesnt acknowlege that as a problem because its not wide spread. But dude at Gamestop said it was one of the major reasons other than the red circle of death that they no longer offer a warranty on the 360s. Im a total asshole, so I will probably just keep calling them about it until they do something about it that makes me happy.
