I was thinking about picking music back up.
And no one in my area is really into deftones, glassjaw, team sleep, etc.
So I was thinkin if any forum members here play and have recording capabilities we could write something pretty bitchin.

The only recordings I got are old like metal and metalcore bands. I haven't tried to play anything like deftones before.

The track is cool! so breezy. I think the drums are OK. You don't want to ruin the song by putting too much in it.

then i realized its the same damn thing over and over for 3 and a half minutes.

I envoloped the song and fixed the EQ, the quailty couldn't be corrected. I added some mellow guitar riffs... I don't know where to upload it so I just put it on my myspace page as the song title of DZEL.

Well it was 2 mins of recording into a shitty mic, I'm suprised it even worked.

I shouldn't have added a phaser, the stereo jumps back and fourth for the low quaility beats... But, don't get me wrong, I like 'em...
Next song can you save them directly from Fruity Loops? Each layer, that way I way professional edit them in Cool Edit Pro...

The first lines you wrote are awesome, it actually fits into what I was thinking.
I recorded and messed around with some stuff, but you'll haveto bear with me.
I don't have a mic here, so i recorded it on my cell phone, then emailed it to myself, then loaded it into cubase, plus the baby was sleeping so i couldn't be too loud haha.
Since I wasn't taking the whole recording on my cellphone thing serriously, I decided to use the vocals more as another instrument then actual vocals.
