YES! i had high hopes for this show, and they were met...there are a couple similarities to Lost, and i really liked how it is kind of parallel to X-files

Lance Reddick (the black guy) is awesome, he instantly reminded of Skinner

I watched the new episode, kind of disappointing I thought. Some critics have claimed this is the new Lost, but i am still not seeing it.

Does have some potential though...

It's not the new Lost.
It does not (still) have a very very secret plot line which would be explained only in the last episode of the last season. Fringe goes episode by episode, like X-Files. and Lost goes like Alice in Wonderland.

Lost bores the Hell out of me so I hope it's not too similar.  If it's like the X-Files I'm in.

The previews looked promising so I'm definitely going to check it out.

what was at the end of the new episode?
apple, and before that - a frame with people lying in some hospital whatever.
thoughts?

yeah that was kind of bizarre, i honestly have no clue

what is with the cross-section of the apple and frog, and that weird stuff they show right before commercials? do they serve any purpose you think?

I think they represent the show,
OR probably the corporation.
Cause in the pilot the corporation had a leaf as it's symbol
and somewhere in the internet I noticed the same apple, but can't remember whether or not it was that Corporation.

I think this has some meaning

there was a handprint like that in the X-Files opening credits...kind of random but that's all I can think of.

Kirlian photography

only that handprint has 6 fingers.
did x-files one have 6 too?

they are symbols used by the corporation. if you noticed the door at the end of last episode, it had a leaf symbol next to it. kinda dug the whole aging thing. methinks the doctor knows a whole lot more than we are led to believe

of course.
the whole corporation is probably making those experiments.

it is REALLY strange how Fringe still keeps me interested.
I mean, Heroes with new episodes do not keep me that interested how Fringe does.

the bald guy?
the strange bullet-capsules digging whereever?
ressurection?
awkward mind reading/past events thing?

it keeps me interested.

yeah that episode actually reminded me of the x-files again. that's a damn good sign.

could the bald guy be someone like the cigarette smoking man? or maybe the deepthroat character from the first couple seasons?
the guy was bizarre, but i think he is probably a good guy

yeah, I'm thinking he's one of the good guys.
and I think he is in the category of the characters that show will deal really much in the future.
the Observer. hm :)

did you notice that this one was the first episode without that mega company in general?
it somehow struck my head

I haven't watched this live since the first season (fucking FOX moved it to Friday nights). But I've been catching up with dvd's and downloading it. And it really is an awesome show. They definitely know how to end a season.
