My favourite is self-titled.
Any more bands like Jesu?

i would say they are in my top 5 bands list of all time.

i think in this year they are the band i listened to the most.

i dont like some of their new tracks (some on pale sketches, hard to reach, falling from grace)

but yeah unique sound, mind-cinema, creates great images for me that are never of natural nature but huge physical constructs.

For some reason the link for the heart ache e.p. isn't working, megaupload  just redirects to the screen where you enter the code. *nevermind, it finally worked*

unfortunately, Jesu are no more heroes for me. i liked good old heavy Justin, Jusin, who promised to destroy the world with heaviness and experimentalism, Justin of "friends are evil" world...

But then he suddenly changes his attitude to music and starts playing some smooth electronica? hm. no, thank you.

gimme some head ache please

Post by: lostpilot on Oct 04, 2008, 12:14 PM
yes, Z, you are right.
I love selftitled just because of how destructive and beautiful it was.
and now.. electronica.
I hope he gets back to his roots sometime

QuoteIn March 2009, Broadrick announced that a new one-song LP, titled Infinity, was scheduled for release through his own Avalanche Recordings label in June 2009. It was also announced that a new EP, titled Opiate Sun, would follow in July 2009. The EP had originally been mentioned in 2008 but a title and official release date had yet to be announced. It is known that this EP will be the first studio recording to feature the lineup of Justin Broadrick, Dave Cochrane and Phil Petrocelli. Hydra Head will also be re-releasing CD versions of the Heart Ache EP and the Jesu/Envy split 12" album. The Heart Ache re-release will contain a second disc featuring an unreleased EP from 2003, while the Jesu/Envy re-release may be released with a previously unreleased bonus mix

Looking for Infinity & Opiate Sun ...

- jesu remix for iroha
