I just happened across the trailer for this today. I'm interested in seeing it. Sort of reminds me of a 28 Days Later scenario, but seems good none the less.
Anyone else care to share their thoughts?

also, it's a remakes of a spanish horror movie...so that could be good or bad
its a shot-for-shot remake of a 1year old spanish horrorflick,,,bah...
Funny Games was a shot for shot remake too, and I thought it was fantastic.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Yeah the spanish version is called [Rec] and I think it's a cool horror movie, it scares me a couple of times while watching it. I have to say I don't have high expectations for this remake, but for sure I'll be watching it to see if it's a good remake, so we'll see...

I thought [REC] was awesome. Quarantine comes out over here next month I think and I'm looking forward to it, but not at the same time.
the previews i've been seeing make it out to be a blairwitch 2.0...i hate shot for shot remakes, if the original was so good, just watch that. oh, i forgot, we americans dont do subtitles

Exactly. Nowadays it seems like they take foreign ideas, translate them into English, run it through the Hollywood machine and churn it out. I mean why not? You don't need writers with original ideas. Genius!

sadly that is the case here in America, and the same goes with our television. We love our reality shows that cost absolutely nothing to make. Who needs good writing anyways?

quarantine...dont watch it. pretty boring. only scary things about it is the loud bangs you hear.
i thought [Rec] was pretty damn lame too. it was so clichéd and unoriginal. it was 28 Days Later with a handheld camera.
i'd take 28DL over [Rec] any day.
