Think about all the dimensions in urban warfare. All the places an enemy could be hiding. You could have 100 friendly troops spread out between two blocks. But not even see each other because of walls and buildings. That makes you feel more alone. Plus it hinders movement. A bad guy could be in any room, and story, any window, and sewer, anywhere. Plus due to civilians you cant just draw a line and say good guys on this side, bad guys on that side. Its 360 all the time. Plus civilians
The acronym for how civilians affect warefare is MOFOS.
MObility, as in you can't just plow through a city. And you have to plan your attack around the fact that if a battle is brewing up, civilians are going to be fleeing. So you don't want to make your attack plan cross those likely escape routs
Firepower. You wouldn't use a 50 caliber machine gun inside of a city. You would start sawing children in half. Shoot right through walls and kill innocent people. You need to use machine guns with 5.56 or 7.62 caliber. This makes it harder to supress the enemy. But saves civilians. You also don't really want to use the fully automatic function. A lot of turret gunners will just use their M4 instead of a machine gun if they are in a really Urban gunfight, so as to not kill any innocents.
Obstacle employment. If you knew that an area had nothing but bad guys in it. You could lay land mines and boobytraps around areas where you were not going to have built up forces in order to channel their escape to where you want them. Can't do that with civilians present. Unless you are Russia in Afghanistan. But even road blocks and shit like that. You just cant bottle up all the innocents and come in guns ablazin.
Security. In really impoverished countries. Innocent people might try to sneak onto your FOB in order to pillage the garbage. They might Do all kinds of crazy shit to get your gear. You dont want to shoot them for a petty crime. So you have to take that into consideration. In afghanistan the guards stood duty with paintball guns.....seriously. Also bad guys can dress like civilians and get very close before they attack. You have to take that into consideration compared to fighting a force wearing a uniform.

A bladder infection? You can use a number of medications. But the most common - easiest to get your hands on will probably be Amoxicillin , Doxycycline, or Ciprofloxacin. If you need to know exact doses I can look it up. yeah, I am like this too. But I always do really well under the said pressure. So I never really thought of it as a problem. But it is a problem. This is a hard nut to crack.
The thing is. You have to realize that life is all about variables ( shout out to myself). But as my Master Sergeant in Afghanistan taught me. You must always control the variables that you can control. Because you can't control the traffic or the actions of your co workers or natural disasters. But to fuck something up due to you just waiting to do it? Stupid. It would seem that getting fucked for procrastinating a few times is one of the only true fixes to make you start getting shit done early.
However, I will try. I am a big fan of schedules. Daily routine. None of this " ahhhhh ill wait another 30 min" or " well I was going to do it, but I can see a while tit through the snow on the spice channel so ill wait until tomorrow." You have a routine. Example:
0600, wake up.
0605, get coffee
0606, get online and catch up with a couple e-mails-myspace-SL
0630 , start getting ready for work
0700, eat breakfast
0720, leave for work
0730, arrive at work
1630, off work
1700, in the gym
1930, leave the gym
2000, study
22, bed
And the same dam thing every single day. On the hour. That is obviously just an easy example. But I would regiment exactly the times I would eat, take showers, chat online, masturbate. Dude, I was sooo regimented. Nothing could break that shit. So it totally took care of my procrastination. Because I had a shit ton of studying to do, and I was getting really behind. May seem a bit extreme to you, but it worked really well for me when I needed it to.

I'm TOTALLY not Trey,but I may be of some help. You had a Prostate infection. Do you have pain in your stomach? It's a possibility you could have bladder ulcers. You could also have a UTI. Prostate infections,from what I hear,are nasty boogers.
In order to diagnose diabetes you would have to have blood taken,after fasting for 12 hours. Then based on your blood glucose levels they will tell you if you're diabetic or not. Some of the symptoms are excessive drinking (usually causing the frequent urination),tiredness, weight gain or loss,blurred vision (which I ended up getting). I'm in the pre-diabetic stage,my fasting sugar level is 125,which is kinda high for fasting. My father is hardcore diabetic,taking insulin shots and pills daily for it. I would get to the dr and have bloodwork done as soon as you can.

Your body is trying to water that syrup down. But its an uphill battle. You would also start to be very irritable. So I am now controlling it with diet. Try cutting some sugary foods out and see if you feel better...breads,any foods with refined sugars. Stick to natural fruit and vegetable sugars. I know it sucks,but hey,if you can beat it before you get it than its worth a shot.

well, I don't eat a lot of sweets these days and I only drink soda on rare occasions. but other than that I don't really care about how much sugar is in the food I eat. sounds like a fucking hassle, but I guess it might be worth it.
I might also add that I easily get light-headed and dizzy, especially in the afternoon after I've had lunch.
It doesn't necessarily have to be sweets...any carbs. Carbs=sugar. But definitely go to your dr. The whole light headed thing is kinda scary.

2. Aenemic. You should get a blood glucose monitor. You could get light headed for a number of any reasons that are way less serious than you being diabetic. The most common being that you could be very dehydrated ( which also just happens to happen when your blood sugar is uber high ) You can think of a high and low blood sugar like climbing a mountain. It takes forever to get to the top. But if you fall, and you start to go down. You are going to hit the bottom really fast, and its going to kill your ass. So, if you are getting light headed when you don't eat. Check your sugar. A normal blood glucose level will be between 60-120. If it is below 60, I would first eat something. Then go to the doctor. If it is like above 200, go to the doctor. Like the ER in both cases. You need to be seen that day. something like kelly was saying around 145 or whatever. Well.......no body's body reads the text book. It's a kind of gray area. Maybe you could have diabetes, or maybe not.
3. Kelly is right about you needing to control your diet. If you are a diabetic, your diet is your new #1 concern in life. If you don't want to become a diabetic, you ( and anyone else ) should still go ahead and follow the advice. No white anything. Bread, rice, pasta, nothing. You might as well eat pure sugar when you eat that shit. Try to cut carbs like crazy. NO BEER. No beer. no beer. NO FUCKING BEER. Ok, maybe a Michelob ultra once in a blue moon. No liqueur either. No alcohol is just a good rule. No sodas. No sweet coffee. Cut out most of the dairy. You have to cut out the sugar. Even the complex forms of sugar need to go away.

I guess you have to feel out the situation and figure out what is right. It is really hard to say without knowing your personality better and his.
But I would be for letting your friends set you up. You are the girl after all, he is supposed to be pursuing you. I need to know both of your ages, education levels, career ambitions, and any other life ambitions to properly answer this question.
Here is my thing. Getting married just because of a baby is a really, really bad idea. I'm not saying this is why you want to marry her. But if it is a heavy influence, I think you should put that aside and think more in terms of compatibility between the two of you.
I don't think it is a good idea to get married young. Everyone matures differently. But for all of you over 30, how much did you as a person change between the age of 20 and 30? I would say that as a general rule, with plenty of exceptions, getting married before age 25 is not a good idea. You need to live and have fun and not wonder what life would have been like. You need to settle down a bit and be ready for this sort of thing. If you want it to last that is.
I don't think getting married before your education ambitions are over is a good idea. You have a good chance of dropping those ambitions and never accomplishing them. You also have a very good chance of putting a lot of unnecessary strain on your relationship if you follow through with those ambitions.
If you, or her, has a life ambition that a spouse would hinder or make harder. Just wait. I meet so many guys who wanted to go try out for the special forces. But didn't because of some chick they "love" and have been with for years. Then he ends up breaking up with her after 5 years and totally isn't happy with his life because he didn't do what he wanted. Thats obviously a military example, but still, you can apply it all around. If you have to sacrifice a dream for this girl, she better be dam worth it, and you better be dam sure.
Also, if you are not financially ready to support a family. Don't get married. Financial responsibility is probably one of the hardest lessons to learn in life. It is also probably one of the most important things you can learn. I don't care how many zeros are in your pay check. I care about how much money you have in long term savings. If you live pay check to pay check, or close to it. Don't get married.
Which brings us to the cost of your wedding. I am all for sentiment. You need to make the day special for her, it is important. But by no means what so ever should you break the bank for this event. Don't rent out and expensive place. Use natures beauty and hold it outside at an affordable location. Keep it small with close family and friends only. This will make it more personable anyways. Also take the wal-mart- ikea approach. You can buy really nice things for really cheap prices. More expensive doesnt mean better. So fuck all these expensive ass wedding stores and planners with inflated prices. Get out and hustle a bit. Craigslist it, and find a good deal.
But does marriage matter today? that depends on your personalities. How seriously you take your faith. How your family will react and all that. I personally don't think that it is important to rush. There is no question if I am unsure or not. That question doesn't even come into it. At the moment its more about money and time. Kirsty and I are quite open to the idea. To me it will just be a big party and the last time I will indulge in some major a-class hallucinogenic's. To Kirsty, its the biggest day of her life but she doesn't want to be pregnant and big on the day (she's a really small girl so she does show). All you need to do is not ask her- there is nothing more of a turn off than been asked if you want to make out. Just wait for the right moment then look at her and go in for the kill- no commary about what you are planning to do/ or ask her for permission. Granted, it is a hindrance but there are ways to getting around that. It just requires you to be creative, which will benefit you in the long run. It requires you to think outside the box more, but in the end you'll probably get more action out of it. As long as you have the confidence to do something like that, then it should be gravy. I think you're kind of walking a fine line with this one. I don't really know a whole lot about this particular kind of drug test. But it appears that you're probably going to be fine. 48 hours seems to be enough time (even though they are saying 72-80 hours just to be sure)

My test yesterday came out diluted because I drank to much water. It would have been clean though. I think I'm going to go in tomorrow and try and piss diluted again, so I can have the weekend to clear out. I was just wondering if you knew of any sure way to flush those metabolites quicker? You want to always do two things when you try to dilute.
1. Take a multivitamin or drink an energy drink: Some test will come back as diluted based of color alone. If the urine is crystal clear, then they will want another one. So, seeing as how too many vitamins turn your urine that yellowish color,its a way to beat this.
2. Eat lots of red meats the day before the test. This will raise your creatine level (one of the things they check for to see if your urine has been diluted, its really a lot more complicated than that, but trust me) so that helps too.
And unless I'm way off here, it looks like this test is still performed though a urine sample? So regardless of what is in your blood or not (it really comes down from the break down of liver enzymes), dilution still works if you're giving a urine sample. It's not THE BEST way or a guaranteed way, but it does work. It could dilute a level down to be less than positive, you just have to take measures to keep your specific gravity up and the color right.
But this test sounds pretty shady anyways. Like I said, this is really the first that I have read into this specific test, but it looks like a lot of people have issue with it. Say your OCD about oral hygiene and you use Scope 10 times a day, and you have a cold so you have been taking nyquil to go to sleep.

he's great. he thinks i'm amazing and everything. he said he was a white boy so he was attracted to girls who had dark features (hence his reasons for saying i was an 'intimate beauty'). we've been hanging out every night since friday, except tonight because he's jamming with his band. he wanted me to come but i wasn't prepared to meet his superfly musician friends. we haven't kissed or anything. yesterday night i finished late from work and got to the roof top of the car park where my car is parked and i called him telling him i was tired and wanted coffee and he walked from his place to me with a cup of coffee from linda's cafe, which is where he took me for the first time we hung out by ourselves. we talked and talked and smoked and i drank the damn coffee and i wanted to hug him because this was the nicest thing a guy has ever done for me.
i just suck at making eye contact with him. it's my problem. he has brought it up. i think eventually as we spend more time together it will get better. he said he wanted to pounce on me two nights ago because he's an arse man and yeah hahahaha
In light of a recent string of parenting failures, and my everlasting battle with indecisiveness, I am seeking answers. I live in a world of grey and can always understand every option under the spectrum, except black or white. So, yea, I suck at that part of life where making an absolute decision is involved. My mind peruses the variables and never settles on a permanent answer. Hence my constant dilemmas.
My ten year old joined football this year. His age bracket is tackle and everyone else on this league has been playing throughout the years. They start in flag and this is their second year of tackle. For my kid, this is his first time ever in football of any kind. (He is a basketball nut and that has really been the sport he has stuck with through the years). He loved conditioning week, but now that they have issued equipment, they are moving onto the tackling aspect. The first practice was yesterday and he came home with red, bloodshot eyes from holding back tears the entire time. He HATES tackle. He is afraid to hit, and afraid to be hit. He says it hurts his head - and they are really just doing some very gentle, learning position, type of tackling. He certainly isn't the right body type for a football, he is tall and skinny. He's ridden skateboards and bikes since he was three and took some pretty harsh falls over the year. He even broke his arm (which ironically was back when he was about 6 and first signed up for football, but didn't get to participate because of the arm). So, it's not like he is a complete wuss, but football just doesn't seem to be his thing.
I've always made the kids stick to the things they committed to. He did baseball last year, but said it was boring, but I didn't let him quit and made him finish out the season. I don't know if I should hold my ground with football too or let him quit. My overwhelming concern is that his fear and apprehension is likely to get him hurt.
So, WWTD? I'm so torn. I don't want him to be a wuss, but in all honestly, this kid could give two shits what anyone thinks of him. He's the kid with long hair and crazy clothes and sharpie drawings on his arms, for which he takes a lot of shit, but on the flip side, doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks. I like the idea of football making him bit tougher (as middle school is quickly approaching), but if I make him stick it out, is he really going to come out of this tougher? And lastly, if you don't like something, why should you have to do it?! I'm not talking responsibilities like school and homework and chores, I'm talking about if I took up a recreation activity (say shuffleboard) and hated the shit out of it, then I wouldn't do it anymore - so why should he have to?! But, if I make him stick it out, he could come away from it with a valuable experience - facing and conquering a fear, growing from an experience, etc. (or he could end up Lucas, pummeled half to death under a heap of big fat kids).
And to highlight my second grand parenting failure - my just-turned-eight-year-old wanted nothing more than Call of Duty, Black Ops for his birthday. I asked around and the feedback I got was that it wasn't all that bad - just shoot 'em up stuff with a squirt of blood here and there. And of course, all his friends supposedly have this too. So, he got Call of Duty, Black Ops for his birthday. I sat and watched him play for about an hour and obviously this is some serious shit. There is some foul language and a pretty heavy and dark story line. I can't imagine this gets better, but likely worse as the game goes on.
So, WWTD? My kids are no strangers to cussing - I grew up in a house where "fuck" was a verb, adjective, noun and anything else you needed it to be - so, I have a potty mouth that isn't always in check as much as it should be. But, I don't really want to continue that cycle and highlight all the naughty talk. The gun crap I thought was par for the course with video games, but maybe this a bit much for an 8 year old? And the severity of the story line is pretty heavy, but I don't even know that he grasps what it is. Am I being over reactive about this game being pretty filthy for an eight year old? Someone suggested I yank it and replace it with Goldeneye?

From my experience (I play rugby, even though I'm rather on the skinny side as well), if you're afraid of contact, this is when you get hurt.

I started with the top 5, Tom Woods is probably my favorite author though. He's an amazing speaker and his material is always compelling. I'd also look up Peter Schiff too; he's a student of the same school of economics, but he is an investment broker, and was the most publicly vocal person who called the tech stock bubble, the housing bubble, and their eventual collapse. He has a radio show that's also a podcast, I'm not quite sure how the free version works because I'm a premium member, but I think you can subscribe to that podcast too.

It's just that there is so much out there, and as your first video demonstrates, the majority of them don't really know what they're talking about. And I sure as hell wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Oh dude don't worry about it. As a product of American public schools, I'm well aware of the vast amount of misinformation they teach. Damn that dude Peter Schiff has quite a few haters. Someone even has a you tube account dedicated to bashing him called the Schitt report.
He's the only one I've been listening to so far. I really like what he says, and the analogies he uses to describe what's going on. Also, because he has a lot of people challenging him on stuff, it forces him to explain things further, which helps me to understand as well.
What I really like though, is the fact that he supports and defends Ron Paul. I guess people that make sense attract each other.
People who challenge the system will always have haters. Martin Luther King Jr. also had quite a few haters.
