So while listening to it, my love for Christian Bale was unmoved. I don't think of him any lower than I did before. It's odd.
Christian Bale is a method actor and I'm guessing/hoping that he was really into the scene, which could have had been an intense scene. Perhaps he was still sort of in character? What am I saying? He's a badass. He has the right to do that. Hahahaa
i agree that acting is a different kind of animal job wise, but no one deserves to be talked to like that. even if he did fuck up the scene, McG should have some balls and told bale to STFU. and i know you cant compare the entertainment business to real life, but i know i would be fired if i talked to a co-worker like that. I'm sure this got blown out of proportion anyway, it always does. i'm sure bale had the decency to apologize later (i hope)

he might have had a bad day and the scene was emotional and so on, but listening to that I got the impression that Bale had been irritated with this guy for some time and finally he got enough. who knows, maybe this guy actually behaved unprofessional and interrupted several scenes before this?

who said he got away with it? everyone's heard that sound clip by now and it has no doubt hurt his reputation. but he did the most professional thing he could about it, he apologized publically and gave an explanation. he's still a good actor.

I get real angry a lot. even just today I had a junior sailor do something fucking RETARDED to a very much so higher ranking sailor. And I had to handle it. My first instinct was to take him to a back room and beat the dumbass out of him. But when you really think about it it, what good is that going to do? So more often than not, I try my best to keep a level head. These guys break my heart more than they piss me off. I genuinely like them as people, but then they fuck my and make me be an ass hole to them. But its best for my career to be level headed. It has gotten me pretty far, so thats how I roll.
and as far as this thread goes. I'm with kelly. I can't figure out why so many of you are kissing this guys ass. He really isnt even that good of an actor at all. Alec Baldwin calls his daughter a bitch for doing some devious backstabbing shit and he is the worlds worse dad.
