Hello and welcome to the 'Film Draft Discussion'
This will be similar to the 'Music Draft' but for those of you still unfamiliar with the process, an undetermined number (as of now) of members will be chosen and each member will choose one movie per round for ten rounds. The goal is to create the strongest list of ten movies.
Once the drafting is complete, the voting portion will begin and two members will be paired against one another per match and the entire Sharing Lungs community will vote for the stronger list. Winners advance and get paired off again. These matches will continue until a winner is determined.
So the signup is officially open. Everyone feel free to join.

I'm done with zombie flicks! I figured the one that started it all and a romantic, zombie comedy (hit a few genres) summed it up nicely. I can think of a few more that deserve a mention, but they're all yours. ;)
I know this might be nerdy but at the end I think it would be fun to find out which director and which year was most popular.
good call. for me, 1994 was a HUGE year. about 6 movies came out that year that i would consider classics.
Tarantino, Kubrick, Speilberg, Fincher would be shoe-ins for top directors.

I'm picking spontaneously. I'm putting all of the movies on my list that have that certain feel to them that make them repeatedly watchable. I keep an eye on everyone's picks and then do my thing.

hey i voted for him. and sure, he did have a lot of scorcese, but BIG LEBOWSKI.
I love most of the movies on Mikey's list, but Oldgent's is much more diverse and interesting.

Oldgent's list isn't really "alternative". Most of the movies he has are pretty well known. Diversity is the key word here. That's at least what I go after in a draft like this...and quality of course.
