Hey, could someone please tell me who is the drummer on Sol Invicto? I don't want to have it wrong on my youtube videos. I copied what it says on the Sol Invicto official youtube channel which has Eric Bobo as drummer, it happens to be the same as what wikipedia says (yes I know, not always reliable). There's also some older sources I've seen that say it is Zach Hill and some that say Dan Foord. So which is it? Or is it a combination of the 3?
After doing some more searching for information, it seems that they recorded stuff with Zach Hill on drums in '08 and a lot of it was changed or mixed and they later added Eric Bobo's drums to the tracks.
"We actually had Zach's (Zach Hill) drums recorded back in 2008, and they ended up just sitting in the hard drive for a couple of years because we didn't really feel the tracks were right" a quote from Richie Londres interview.
Anyway like I said the last thing I want to do is have it wrong on my youtube video. So I will credit both Zach Hill and Eric Bobo.

Those drums are all Zach Hill, Bobo is percussion, only on a couple sections on this ep. Dan Ford is on EP 3 and another drummer is on EP 2. Once all 3 are out we will be working with Dan Foord on the album, he is the main drummer for us right now.

Richie is the one who runs the Facebook, before he took it down just recently that is. And Mexico sounds highly unlikely as I'm sure if they did, it would be in one of their hometowns, or countries. And it would likely be a long time if and when they ever do any shows...

Did you read the second email where they asked you to not do this? "This email list and any content is exclusive to the fans who sign up to it, it is not for press releases or sharing publicly at all!" I guess they want to keep it quiet as an incentive to join the mailing list which I think is smart seeming their not really established yet, I saw the guys from Mogwai talk about doing their own marketing/press and they said that having a database of fans email addresses is the most important thing because it not only allows you to track fan numbers it gives you the ability to directly tell them about tours or new music which is far more effective than third party advertisers.
As I've said many times, I'm all about sharing and free music for this project...but there is no incentive to join a mailing list if that information is shared as soon as we send out emails...that's all.
I'd never use third parties to talk about my own band, I can handle that ;)
