So let me start off with...
a few years ago I was in a band on signing duties and from time to time we'd cover DEFTONES.
Shit was good.
but the band fell apart.
now i've got the itch again to play live...
so I want to throw together a new group...
cover band? sure just something
anyone here interested in getting together to do some gigs on our free time?

1.Not many people here even reside in the same country.
2.Just saying, don't expect a pleasant uproar from this.
3.Sharinglungs is not the first place to look for band members.

Just a suggestion, wouldn't you rather hook up with people you've actually met?
most of the people in my area are friggin' kids who want nothing more than to play F.O.B.
or that type a (stuff).
I figure why not reach out and see what I Can snag here, figure hey, there are people here who are familar with the Deftones and who love the deftones as much as I why not.
I'm pretty sure you won't find anything here.
It was worth a shot no?

Yeeeaaahh sorry man, but he's definitely right. You know, there's always people everywhere. You just gotta get your hands dirty, just like finding good music, it's even harder to find a group of people that will stick. My suggestion to you would be to just be patient and not try and rush it considering i'm in your boat too. I'd actually go as far as saying I'd be mildy interested in hanging out with you myself, but I live in Indiana so...yeah.
