They are playing Download and festivals have area restrictions for bands so I doubt it.

Fingers crossed. White Pony in full at Liverpool Academy. But that may be a little too 'specific' wishful thinking haha.

Pah, Deftones should be above Biffy on that!

Yeah I get that, I've never really liked them to be honest, still I'd swap them around. But I don't run festivals so what do I know?

I'd been holding onto tickets to their Nashville show for over a year and they cancelled it to play Bonnaroo. I hope they'll come back soon so TN fans can hear a headline set. Bummed about it personally, but I hope this helps some new people discover their music.

Recieved a message today in confidence that the tour is in danger of being changed. Nothing official yet, but it's possible.
US tour postponed to 2022.
Porto is cancelled (see below).
I'm not sure they have cancelled Bonnaroo fest (yet)? EDIT: Nvm

Disappointing as we were looking at hitting Porto if it went ahead for DEFTONES gig #50.
Will be interesting to see if they play Welcome To Rockville in November as that post says they have cancelled ALL 2021 gigs.
I'm going to presume no DDLD this year.

Was looking forward to a Portugal trip! Now I'm considering going overseas. Gotta say TN wouldn't be a destination of choice.
Has it been theorized that a strong likelihood for the tour being postponed is one or more members of the band not being vaccinated?
I think that's a possibility though I do think they cancelled it because there was too much chance of individual shows being cancelled at short notice and they wanted to do the tour properly.
It's a problem though. Hopefully he'll come to the realisation of how ill-informed his view is because it could kill touring for them for the foreseeable future.
Deftones cancelled their slot at Welcome to Rockville - no Deftones shows in 2021.

It's hard to imagine at least some people didn't think of the possibility. Stephen sounds like an adamant anti-vax.
June 9, 2022 - Les Nuits de Fourvière, Lyon, France

Deftones are playing with Baroness opening. Might be worth noting that they were on that festival as well in 2020, only with Refused instead, point is Deftones had not listed it on their website let alone confirmed it and that's also the case this year.
Still got tickets...

Don't suppose anyone knows if there will be a "secret" London warmup show prior to Download? The last few times, they've announced something fairly last minute (normally around May) at smallish London clubs.

Don't think there is a space for a 'warm-up' with the French show happening on June 9th. But I wouldn't be surprised to see a headline show or two announced for after Download before they play Hellfest.
Cool. Thanks!
Shame they haven't managed to do any other UK dates besides Download Festival

O2 Priority Wednesday 9am
Thanks Steve. It's not showing up in the app but hopefully will work it out
Gutted, I can't make that!
Wtf tried both pre sales and general sale at 9am and sold out within seconds.
If anyone has a spare do let me know, otherwise resale websites it is....
I got mine almost ten minutes into yesterday's presale. You have to keep clicking even if it doesn't return anything.
I did that for about 20 mins yesterday and again today.
Shit happens
Ah ok, yeah that's rough. Two presales plus bots can really fuck over a general sale.
And now Stef isn't even playing. Ugh
Just saw this. What a bummer.

Pretty poor on behalf of the band and their promoters – announce the London show, sell it out and then say "oh by the way, Stef ain't gonna be there".
Not sure whether I'll go now. It's half a new band.
Makes me feel less shitty about not getting a ticket. It's shameful really.
Anyone with a spare to the Forum gig let me know, I screwed out on luck on this one

Same here.
Man, that went fast/shitty.
Was logged in for the general pre-sale, got two tickets. Site suddenly didn't recognize my postal code, so I entered the details of my friend, site didn't recognize my creditcard details at first, but just clicked enter again. Just hit 'confirm identity' on my bank's app and while I was sure I had about a minute to spare, I got 'timed out'.
And, poof, gone.
Wow, so the day the London show sells out Stef announces he ain't touring, glad I didn't bother now, nice way to stick two fingers up at your international fans
The Lyon show was sweet, the place gave it all a surreal outlook. London wasn't all that great imo, then again I was in different circumstances. Lance seemed to be very hyped. I heard rumors Jerry Cantrell was there, a setlist switch up would have been nice to be honest
I thought London was great. Special atmosphere in the air. Really fucking hot but I didn't mind; I've missed that sweaty club environment and this was one of my first gigs back. Been to some good ones the last few weeks - Glassjaw in the same venue, Tool at the O2, but this was comfortably my favourite.
Wouldn't surprise me if Cantrell was there, I think he's got a tour here coming up. Wonder if Greg Puciato was there too. I know the guy from UNKLE was, as was Frank Carter.

Cool to see Pinback in the lineup. I think Chino said in an interview once that Rob Crow wasn't happy with the TS guys about something at a certain point so nice to hear they're good now.
They don't do it in europe, smh
Deftones will be playing Coachella this year. And now we have a first sign of a run up for the new album.
Yes, they almost seem to be the only metal band on the lineup, it's already a hint for the new album
