earthtone9 (http://www.earthtone9.co.uk) were are great band from the UK. They existed between 1998 and 2002, released three albums and three E.P´s.
And they´re about to release a compilation this year, sprouting rumors of possible shows. Discus 8)

*yawn*
The same reaction to a thread about Make Believe, minus the yawn.
Great band. Used to see them a lot in Nottingham.
I love their first album and it's also produced by Andy Sneap if I remember right.

Hahaha yeah wtf! But man I'm so tired of this board and it's nu-metal worn out band-threads. Yet this place is like heroine, it's kinda hard to not fall back.
Actually I sounded like a whiney cunt there. Sorry Martin :/
No worries man. But maybe a different place would be better for this :D
EDIT: Also, I have to add, I don't think they had much to do with nu-metal.
i used to listen to them in 01 & 02, they were pretty solid

yeah, good times
I wouldn't call them nu-metal, they have post-hardcore aspects in there.
No way were they nu-metal. Arc Tan Gent is a great album

great song. never heard this band before, but I'll have to take a listen.
Cool to hear! I've been a fan since a little before the record this song was on came out; arc'tan'gent in 2000.
earthtone9 is and has always been a band that did things their way, a little different.
Hope you enjoy the rest as well (the free compilation is a good start).
Forgat to post, for those who are interested.
They have a new Pledgemusic campaign out, for their new, fourth full length record. They hit the target some time ago, and are gearing up to record. You can still pledge. They released a free song in promotion of this record. And it's a beast. They will perform with Vision Of Disorder next week, on 14th and 15th of september in London and Manchester.

They were the very first band I saw live, and I still have a huge soft spot for them. Really enjoying IV! Now if only Twin Zero would squeeze out that third album...
