I've only got a few movies on Blu-Ray (Watchmen, Inglorious Basterds, Seven Swords, The Dark Knight) Next one I buy, I'd like to be a visual experience. Like the tip top tier of the Blu-Ray experience. Any suggestions?
I've only got a few too on the blu. Watchmen, Inglourious Basterds, Dark Knight, The Proposition, Moon, The Road. I would recommend Moon on blu-ray. My buddy has 300 and Sin City, and those are also boner-inducing in high def.
Personally, I know what my next blu-ray purchase is- Inception.

blade runner is the most overrated sci-fi movie of all time. it's crap. it's boring as fuck and it could end in about 20 minutes if they took out all the pointless bits. also i had no emotional investment in a single character which i think was a big part of what they were trying to do..

I didn't feel like the swedish version needed a remake. I wonder what the new one is like.
I hate to say it, but I really liked the remake. The couple things that I noticed done differently were just AWESOME. Directing was good, not too many lens flares (like Cloverfield) and a great cast.

Now I rarely watch or buy movies, I am not into them as I was when I was younger, and this won't necessarily fit in the topic but I am looking to buy it.
'No Country for Old Men' I loved this movie, I don't know how many of you will though. It's slow, you've gotta pay attention to everything that happens, you might even need to re-watch it like I did the day after first seeing it. But there aren't a lot of movies that make me feel the tension they try to build up like this one did. It's almost terrifying at some parts how dark and witty it all was. I suggest it to you all, it's on Amazon Video if you pay for Prime, you can watch it right now. I'm glad I saw it, and can't believe I didn't know about it until about 2ish months back. ;D
