mine: i beat street fighter 2 turbo on the hardest difficulty without losing even 1 round all the way through(let alone a fight), got the best ending the game had. SNES. did that in like 1994 i think

i went on a train journey to scotland starting off in southern england, which is about 7 hours or something and completed super mario world on the game boy 10 times, hoping that something cool would happen on the 10th time, it didn't. I now have an RSI and a withered claw hand as a result.

beating Gunstar Heroes was pretty touch way back when. Probably because I was young, since I replayed it on the 360 and beat in my first sitting. I've also beat all the Call of Duty's on veteran mode.

yea, that one took us a few months too. only because that one room with the golden gun had all those automatic machine guns kill you unless you stepped on the floor panals in the correct order. we had no idea, nothing in the game before that suggested they'd do that. that was the only thing out of those 2 games we looked at a strategy guide for. i just didn't make sense. i thought the hardest level on 00 agent was the control room. that was a nightmare on 00. anyway, great times. 007 n64 is still my all time fav game

playing World of Warcraft for over 30 hours straight.
Not really looking at it as an accomplishment, but playing Outcast for the first time made me kind of proud.
Also getting through the first Resident Evil on Playstation 1 without shitting my pants. What a shocking moment that was when you hear the sound of breaking glass, and suddenly mutated dogs run towards you.
And while I'm at it, making some Resident Evil 5 Mercenaries high-scores with my brother, always pushing each other, was just so much fun.

Oh man, The Resi games do that to me. Dino Crisis did it, but it was so damn playable. A great balance. Project Zero/Fatal Frame was too much for me though. I was too scared to play it.
I find though that with those kinda games I'm all tense when I'm playing it. I don't let myself relax and get immersed because when the next scripted scare happens I'll shit myself. I'm just all tense, getting to the next save point as soon as possible, then turning that shit off!
condemned was great and had the affect on me too. dead space too, i couldn't play it at night after awhile.
I once held the High Score in Ms. Pacman at the Laundry mat. But was beat by a 8 year old asian kid named Ping. im guessing his last name was pong.
i held the record on the south park pinball machine at a local theatre for 2 years. also i held a high school on a g.i. joe game at a campground for about 20 minutes once.

That game was huge, me and a few of my friends lost most of our mid to late teens playing it. I started on half-life death match and played that up until CS 1.0 came out, only stopping when I went to university in 2002, where i had no internet connection and was unfortuantly forced to forge a social life once again...I've played CS Source a handful of times now.
It's weird I think i played CS when I first got into Deftones, I actually remember playing ATF, Adrenaline and WP on minidisc through head phones whilst playing CS, Deftones and CS have a weird association in my head now.
Oh and just for the record I bought a PS3 and COD recently, if only they allowed mouse and keyboard, i'd strafe the shit of them!

Yeah sometimes i will remember an old computer game i used to play and wrapped up in that memory will be a soundtrack of whatever i was listening to when i played it, it can make you properly nostalgic but i think its best to leave it be and not revisit, its just not the same!

Way way way back in the day, I maxxed the score on the classic shooter Mercs, on my trusty megadrive - I found a spot where enemies infinitely came out this door and one application of sellotape to the fire button later, I clocked 99,999,999 - then stumbled onto the end and completed the bitch. I posted my achievement off to my favoured games mag, and waited for my glory to be advertised to dickheads across Europe. Brilliantly, not only did they print the score, they printed it in their 'Jimmy Chin' corner with the quip 'we realllly believe this score'. To add to the magic, a guy wrote in asking why they didnt believe the score, sparking off this whole debate about how I did it. In the end I sent in a photo, and they had to retract their accusation and issue an apology. Twats.
