Well, this is not really that "standard." Adrenaline to ATF was 2 years, 3 years to WP, 3 years to ST, 3 years to SNW, 4 years to DE, 2 years to KNY. By that method we're looking at an average of 2.83 years between albums. So to be nearing 4 years since the last release is far beyond "standard."

KNY was released Nov. '12. We're just nearing the 3 year mark, not 4.

Yeah I guess I didn't factor in months, just numerical years. Well now I'm curious so:
25 months between Adrenaline and ATF
32 months between ATF and WP
35 Months between WP and ST
41 Months between ST and SNW
42 Months between SNW and DE
30 Months between DE and KNY
That's 34.17 months per album on average, 2.85 years. I guess looking at it that way isn't too different, and it's been 35 months since KNY. I guess you're right, we're nearly right on par right now.
