So whos into them???
And if so, whats your favourite ablum? and why??
mines defnitly Takk...
its just so moving. so unexplainable. so good.
Yeah Takk for me too, very moving... would love to see them.
( ) is my fave but takk is close.
I love ( ) and hate Takk...
it's hard to describe, Takk has lyrics and the musics have been created around it. Therefore making more sense to the songs. althgouh to me, nothings make sense because I understand shit and the songs feel longer for no apparent reason. I feel the same way for the second album. while ( ) is music only.
1 - ( )
2 - A B
3 - Takk...
4 - Von
thats the order for me.
At first Agaetis was my fav, but Takk is winning me over.
Sigur Ros isn't even music, it's more an experience.
Unreal and amazing.

yep..
this spring me and some of my friends in the university showed Heima to our study group, all of them were amazingly astonished, no matter what genre of music they would usually listen to.
It's really really really good.

No idea what the hell it is, but it must mean something new is coming out. Looks like it could be another DVD.
Hmm, i'm intrigued.
Either way, in the last 4 hours it's gotten me back into a major Sigur Ros kick.

Yeah I'm really enjoying it, I think the instrumentals have a bit more weight to them on this album then previous albums, sometimes in the past the instrumentals had a tendency to be really quiet almost like they were afraid to ruin the ambience, but on this album they are really big and epic sounding I think it works to they have managed to do it so it sounds really atmospheric but at the same time they don't overwhelm the soft vocals. Alot of their past stuff would sort of lose my attention after a while because it was so fragile and ambient, even though it was beautiful it had a habit of becoming white noise to me, but the new stuff really pulled me in and grabbed my attention through the whole album.
Their best since Takk for me, I'm really loving it.

totally agree.
i'm with you both. kind of has a more epic sound to it compared to valtari and the previous couple albums, i love it.
The title track is heavy as fuck (for Sigur Ros). Love it!
