Funny, I'm listening to this album at the moment too...
I chucked it in my discman a week ago and it has'nt left it.Great skating, biking, bus or general out and about music.
indeed... I'm a great fan of QOTSA and Josh Homme stuff in general anyway...
Kyuss > QOTSA
Desert sessions are dope... But I cannot say which band I prefer QOTSA or Kyuss... Tough question...

Well, at some points it sounds a bit gothic but otherwise I like it very much. And I would say that the songs you already have give you a good picture of what the rest of the stuff sounds like because there's no big surprises on the album.
But I can put it on the internet if you want.

Trust me, don't listen to it.
pretty bad advice if you ask me. i mean, you could say that about Coheed and Cambria for example, but Isis selling out with tracks that are about 7 minutes long? of course, it's something different compared to their previous cds, but those who like "improvement" might enjoy it. maybe you just dont.
Dude ! You need to buy yourself some sort of sarcasme detector. See the ;) smilie at the end of the post?

you made me upset. have you even tried to listen to their stuff? I wasn't into BM but it has some great atmosphere. Mayhem's DEATHCRUSH has taken a lot from punk and the album is just great. you should also listen to a band Hades.
terrible stuff? you've said the same when I was, well I still am, into TMV ;)
maybe I should start listen to Death Cab then? ;D sorry Az! I'm just joking ;)
i never said tmv was terrible. i've always liked them.
norwegian black metal is probably the only kind of music i take a strong distance from. they're fucking evil man, in the purest sense. it's not just a gimmick to them. they're criminals. hateful pyromaniacs and murderers...and i'm not even exagirating.
in no way do i wish to support people like that.

always a good choice, whats your favorite album?
as far as their released music goes. i enjoy the campfire headphase the most
but they have some really rare albums that you can find online.. try finding.
a few old tunes, old tunes vol.1., old tunes vol. 2, boc maxima
those 4 albums have a lot of boards of canadas best work on them. its a shame they are so rare.
here, check out this fan made video for one of my favorite boards of canada unreleased tracks. the song is called. 5:9:78
5.9.78 by Boards of Canada (Unofficial Video) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXfYYNHESSQ#)
I do have to say I enjoy these music threads. I'll search them for new music and haven't been disappointed. Thanks guys!
My taste these past 2 months:
Best Coast - "Crazy For You"

The Cardigans - First Band on the Moon
I am really digging the latest release by The Xcerts, entitled Scatterbrain.
My brother described their sound as "...it's as if the Deftones fucked Brand New and started covering Nirvana songs."
Been spinning the new Grails. Really want to listen to the new Long Distance Calling, but between a new Grails album and my recent addictions to Tim Hecker and Boris, it will probably be a couple days before I get to LDC :(
Junip deubt. Joze Gonzalez has an amazing voice :)
"The king of limbs" and radiohead bsides. just recently redownloaded them all in great quality.

Those people in your signature should call themselves the individual-weirdo-vegan-hipsters.
"We don't care what we look like, because it's all about the music, no?"
Their music is weirder than their appearance.
I already hate those people just by looking at that sig.
Ugh...
Well that's one of the dumber things you've said lately, but alright.

Slint - Spiderland
It's not so much their clothes (though it adds to it), but their whole "oh, we're so different, we're so serious, for god's sake don't smile, just look weird" attitude. they're trying to be different, but when it comes down to it they're just clones of many others.
those people are the epitome of hipsters. sorry, but it makes me sick.
Well their music is good, so I don't really mind how one photo shoot ended up.

Right now, it depends on my mood. If ready to go out and have a good time. Foster The People new album "Torches"... if chill or laid back at the house, or even ready for bed... the new self-titled Bon Iver album. Shit is flawless!!!

Can't stop listening to it. Completely mellows me out.
letlive. - Fake History (Full Album 2010) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2pthGFPPQI#)
Sans around the fur, this might be my favourite album ever. Been hearing it nonstop since 2010; never gets old, or inappropiate.
By the way, thanks for posting arms & sleepers, I enjoyed listening to it.
