I haven't cared about a Final Fantasy game since Final VI (one of the best games ever in my opinion). After I played Final VII I pretty much stopped caring about the series since I thought it sucked pretty hard. Actually, I've been playing Final Tactics again recently but I don't really care for the storyline too much. I just think it's a fun game with the whole "Job" system.
can't wait for this game! i love the setting of it.

ff11 looked horrible, didn't seem to have a proper story or ending..
I stopped caring about the Final Fantasy games after FF9. FF7 is one of my alltime favorites, and I've had great times with FF6 and FF Tactics as well. but FF8 sucked so much in comparison and FF9 just felt too childish.

9 was the last good one they made, 8 being my favorite and 7 is the bomb.
I hope they finally make something good for ps2, I don't know if I'll have time to play it when it comes out, but eventually I'll get to it.

There's plenty of story. San D'Oria storyline, Bastok storyline, Windurst storyline, Zilart storyline, Promathia storyline, Aht Urhgan storyline.

Personally I thought this was the worst FF game ever... Didn't really care for the battle system, the story line was slow...
After reading your guys thoughts on it though I might pop it back in and play it again...
I had more fun with the Silent Hill games than FFXII though

the game gets more fun the longer you play. I've already played more than 100 hrs and still have a ways to go...
ok dudes. so i finished FF X today.
it was a great game. after baldurs gate imho it had the most awesome story of all games i played. i liked that you have some parts where you didnt need you controller and just had to watch.
i didnt like that there were too much random fights and i also didnt like that the story was so closed and the player didnt have any influence at all.
also there were no side quests only like some mini games you could gather moar items with.
so which final fantasy should i play next?
i got a pc and a ps2

the card game was sweet
Yes!! I was addicted to that card game. For some reason, beside the hard to best FF7, this was the best of the series IMO. I enjoyed the realistic animation and the magic/gf system. I remember getting Eden and boosting it maximum power and that long ass but sweet animation sequence. The story was good and dark as well. Man, now I'm going to go dig it up again.

My boyfriends playing XII now. And he has informed me that he will not be leaving the apartment for a couple months when XIII comes out.
The graphics really look amazing in the trailors though....much more entertaining than watching him play tactics
