I thought it would be interesting to start a topic (sorry if there is one) on just anything you associate when you listen to Deftones. Feelings? Images?

I can remember i used to listen to White Pony while reading the book Dracula, so i always have the elements of Dracula when i listen to Deftones. Specially listening to RX Queen and Teenager. The swirling sounds in Teenager always make me think of lurid sexual bits of Dracula. I really like how both White Pony and Diamond eyes are just pure fantasy you can just lose yourself in. Really epic.

I always get visions of night time and just being in a heightened state. I always imagine them playing in a garage for Adrenaline or an abandoned house. Just tearing it up (Like their videos)

Around The Fur gives me an all time summer feel, totally. It just doesn't sound right in the winter! And Saturday Night Wrist gives me a winter feel, probably cause it came out then. But Cherry Waves, Xerces etc. just give me that vibe.

Not sure if this is the kinda thing you mean, but wen I first listened to Battle-Axe (properly), I related to the lyrics a LOT (or my interpretation of it at least, because of stuff I was going through) and the song is just so damn beautiful to me, so I always listen to it and it makes me reminisce and, even though it was a bad time, it kinda makes me feel happy in a dark kinda way. And Beware makes me think of some kind of sexual and violent fantastical kinda thing for some reason. That's all that comes to mind at the moment. I agree with what you said about White Pony and Diamond Eyes though. Think that's part of why I love them so much. They're very fantasy-oriented and have an ethereal sound to them that I love.
