Holy shit-maybe this could be bigger than even the guys in the band know...openers on the Eros tour?...Probably not, but my life would become complete at that point...

GardenParty

PONIES!!!

Troubador is nice because you can fax in an order and the service charge is only 2 bucks.

$34 for two tickets to see fucking FAR!

I'm seeing MBV and Far in October.  Unbelievable.

Now only if Failure would reunite...

Deadradio

Yeah, that would be great!!

I'll be at both shows...  and I'll hopefully perform my usual black magic thing I do: record

Skinnypuppy is going, who else?

About a month ago this site was up: http://thebandfar.com

It's a countdown for something special, possibly a new live DVD.

Cool, I see more ppl are going.  Shall we meet up somewhere to chat, drink, eat?  Would love to meet you folks...

gotta admit, it's kind of shitty that we waited ten years for a some-what lame cover song.

Sounds overly polished, like grattitude.

whine whine bitch moan.

phil for real

pony could possibly be the best song far has ever done, and yes i know it's a cover.

Deftones-argentina

I hope this means a new album might come out...and that the album is par to Far's quality.

why?

why the fuck not sacramento!?
do. make. say. think.

my buddy sort of interviews Shaun Lopez:

Very few people seem to even care about Far, but those who do love them to death.  So the reason why more people aren't getting excited is the exact same reason why people are getting excited.  It's Far.
I find that a sign of a good band.

I hope someone can get a recording, this is awsome news. At least it will stop Shaun lopaz recording...

Oh wow, thats neat!

I got into the Troubadour show. Everyone, EVERYONE, was in a good mood. It was intense how positive the crowd was, and how happy Jonah was. It was as if FAR never broke up, they just sort of took a break. They all acted so natural with each other. Truly an amazing show that I wont forget any time soon.

Also, an interesting note: they didnt perform their gosh-awful cover of Pony. they played it on the loudspeakers before the band hit the stage. How awesome is that? they knew the song didnt fit the set list and opted to just play it radio-style.

Little birdie on the street says that FAR is playing 5 songs at tonight's Deftones benefit for Chi. Johnny, FAR's bass player can't make the show, BUT Octavio is filling in from the band known as, Friday Nights.

Going to the Mastodon/Dethklok/Converge/High On Fire show tonight tho, FAR is not playing tomorrow tho, too bad I'll be missing out. But I'll be going to the benefit tomorrow night.
