Goat album "World Music"
Goat - Goatman
Awesome album, very psychedelic but has an old-school rocknroll Doors vibe as well, along with some tribal influence.
Definitely worth a listen if you're into that.

I don't usually check out Pitchfork.com, but I happened to the day this album had like a 9/10 score. I thought the artwork looked dope, so I checked it out. The whole album is pretty awesome, very original and unique. They have a cool band bio as well. Basically a bunch of local villagers from Sweden that just jam together.. the only solid member is the singer/guitarist.

If you like them, you should check out Brian Jonestown Massacre

Yeah I like it. I'm in a shoegaze band. Well a one man band (kinda)  If anyone's interested we should have something out sometime soon. But anyways one of my favorite styles.

i do miss not having that option here, like i do on the main boards i post on. ;)

it's about that time of year again, and Mr. Stevens makes things not just bearable but *gasp* enjoyable!

hmm. not sure i believe you.

I'm currently reading for my exams, so i'm listening to mostly ambient music. One of my favorites during times like these is Tim Hecker's Ravedeath, 1972.

Highly recommended if you wan't to give your Brian Eno records a rest.
