your best option is to download iTunes and convert it to a lossless format (aiff, wav, aac lossless) for your personal listening! or 320 mp3 i suppose.

you're all very welcome by the way. this took a while to acquire so i'm not too pushed on trying to find another method when it works fine in a program that is pretty quick to download (and which many people already use), which you can use to convert and then uninstall if you so choose.
