Thought it would be interesting to see what other people have as favorite performances. To keep it interesting and not too long, post single live performances, not full shows. Also, give a few words about why it's special to you.

I'll start :

My favorite version of Digital Bath. It's regarded as the best by many, and I agree. Lo-fi quality, but it adds to it, the mood looks perfect, and Chino's vocal performance is better than on any other performance of Digital Bath. Especially the end of the last high "More", that last weird sound he makes (at 3:26) like on the record, he almost never did that as far as I recall.

I've always been a huge fan of their Weezer - Say It Ain't So Cover. Not sure the date or venue of this particular one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ev7Y0nPWzo8

This is an awesome thread idea, Ves - and great submission.  That's always been one of my favorite deftones performances overall.  Also, despite how iconic the suit/tie look was for chino during white pony, there's relatively little footage from that period.  So it's nice to see it preserved and documented.

I was going to submit the backstage video from 2000, but it appears to have been removed from Youtube.  I believe it was filmed by Donk in Michigan.  Deftones and Kid Rock are hangin out backstage, and then they eventually take the stage.  Chino rips off aviators and tears into BQAD.  Awesome vid, hopefully I can dig it up back home and share.  In the meantime, here's one of my favorite live "performances" - technically a rehearsal, but still.  I love how Chino closes his eyes and goes into another space before he tears into Elite.

I'd say 96 but not too sure, I'll check when I get my external drive (with my bootlegs) back. In the meantime, if anyone knows...

@buddyboy101 : Just remove the "s" after http

Rehearsals are good as well!

There's that really moody performance of Mascara from an older show maybe Roseland Ballroom 98', Ves knows the one I'm talking I remember him posting about it, I like it because Chino's voice has a real grain to it and he also adds little bits to the vocals that fit in really well, also I love the performance of Change from their musique plus appearance it's really intense , Chino's voice has a weird texture to it and the guitars seem crunchier but mainly it's seems like each one of them is in the zone with each other and just living the song.

2) deftones :: Crenshaw [San Francisco 1999]

3) Deftones - When Girls Telephone Boys (Pinkpop 2006)

Holy shit, that WGTB was epic. Chino looks like shit but seems to hold his own-ish.

always will be upset they threw out FOD, that song paints a picture of how the band was at that time with a perfect mixture of experimental rock and metal

my contribution:

Deftones - Korea live @ Convention Hall - November 18th, 2000 [1/17]

love the effects that were used throughout, also so awesome it made me leave a comment!!

great vid from a great era.  there's definitely an urgency and hunger in those performances back then.  the band, though, has since improved on the live breakdown - it's become much larger and more dramatic, for the better.

I haven't got any to add yet, I'll dig around in my favourites in a bit, but whoa, I actually had no idea they'd played Crenshaw Punch before. Is that the only time they played it?

Most likely not. They played a bunch of rare songs in 1999, it's just that not many bootlegs exist from those days. Rumors say they played a few White Pony demos during the Ozzfest tour, other than Pink Maggit and Korea.

My favorite version of Hexagram. Dope vocal performance, sick mood, Hexagram in a nutshell. Kind of wish we could see a perspective of the whole band but whatever.

Teknoman

This and always this!!.

I post this video all the time but is such an awesome performance... proshot video, studio like sound quality. I just can imagine how it felt  when the song kicked in after Chino's soft and dreamy guitar intro. I'm sure people felt all that powerful wall of sound in their whole body.

My favorite version of "Bored". It's pretty much "Bored" in a nutshell, perfect execution. The vocals are flawless, pretty much note for note like on the record.

Deftones - Bored live @ Nile Theater - August 25th, 1995 [1/11]

Headup from Bizzarre '00 and of course WGTB from Pinkpop '06

Heck, I won't be original  :D
