bloody

self-loathing

like a worm
come to surface
when it rains,
wriggling
and squirming
on the ground,
longs to return to
the comfortable dirt.

bloody

Empty

I look at the bottom of an empty mug,
Wondering where all the coffee went;
Much like a night spent in dreamless sleep.

The Machine

Building mental pathways,
I read, knowing that the brain is
a physical thing;

every input, every thought,
has an impact on the way
the mind is formed...

and I want a better machine.

Amid the Chaos

The physical world is my anchor,

For it still makes sense
When everything else is chaos.

may you find
the uniqueness
of each moment...

in all its nuances.

' Life is not forever like a candle it burns
Taking you through all the twists the turns
Be wary as your flame only lasts so long
It's your light in the dark if anything goes wrong
What I'm trying to say is look after your flame
As no two candles ever burn the same '

bloody

Discernment

Soldiers live and die
in the battlefield of the mind.

I'm Yours

These lessons,
It's the way things are.

So grow up.

Sooner or later,
I don't even question.

I'm yours.

Nocturnal Rapture

The night is cool,

The light is warm, inviting.

Thunk, thunk, thunk;

Enraptured, like a moth,

Compelled to the flame.

Nocturnal Rapture

The night is cool,

The light is warm,

Inviting.

Thunk, thunk, thunk;

Enraptured,

Like a moth,

Compelled,

Into the flame.

You are a real goof

colors

In the colors
of the world,

you're the light
showing me.

momentum

airy dreams
enfold me,
take me
beyond this
whirling rock.

dreaming

intertwined
with this
physical being,

unable to
stay awake,
we all fall asleep,

soon to drift,
as we inhabit
the space inside,

dreaming,
and, yet, living
in our invisible world.
