Can add a few months to any release estimate, as usual with Deftones. Autumn '24 sounds about right.

There are so many bands doing Deftones-y material right now, in various different ways; I'm greedy for one more colossus record from them that puts everyone else to shame.

They're in Malibu working on the album right now. Chino said he'll be there for the rest of the year.

Saw a post by kitesvera on the subreddit - he talked to Chino last week at one of the Crosses shows. Chino said the music for the next album is done and his vocals are next up. Also Lance will evidently have a part on the album - guitar, and maybe backup vocals too?
