Its one of my favorite albums to listen to from start to finish whenever I can. I also think that it aged really well for me once I gave some songs that I didn't like at first listen a better chance... And also the production is superb

I love that description... "dark and futuristic" indeed.

I remember when it came out, I would go for very long walks to the financial district of my city (Santiago, Chile).

It was in the middle of the pandemic, so the place was kind of deserted.

Everytime I listen to it, I go back to those visuals, that vibe: a gloomy futuristic city, in a beautiful way. Like an old school 3D wallpaper from the artist "Digital Blasphemy".
Good evening... and welcome to the white pony

When i think of ohms i think of urantia and radiant city [ radiant city isnt even my favorite song on there] but those 2 are like a standout on what ohms feels like. Kinds like blade runner 2049, a city with glow8ng lights and pouring its ass off, its such a good dark feel

Edit after 2 hours: and franks synth work on this album is insane, hes the entire standout honestly, we went absolutely insane, thats what MAINLY give the album thr future sound imo. And omg the synth solo at the end of pompeji, just WOW, hes a so overlooked in thr band, hes a crazy important member. NO FRANK DELAGADO SLANDER. also Sergio did amazing as well [bye sergio 💔], everyone did, but still

I hate quoting long posts but I'm glad to see someone else appreciating Frank's work on Ohms. Can't remember if it was here or Reddit but after ohms released I said I'd take a frank synth solo album after hearing his work on it lol

hey guys, I am new to this website and I find the community awesome, the stuff I find out on here about my favorite band in the world is incredible, so thank you all.

furthermore, I have some of my own news to share. Apologies if this isn't helpful but i'm just gonna let y'all know anyway.

A couple weeks ago i was on an instagram live hosted by knotfest, this british lady was talking about new albums and revewing them, i kept commenting about if there was any news on the deftones album. she eventually responded and said "as a radiohost i know a lot of things you guys dont, so get excite because its awesome"

cannot wait.

I do recall the massive buzz on the site when Ohms dropped. "The Spell of Mathematics" was the overwhelming favorite here. It is a great record, with Franks fingerprints all over it.

"Pompeji" is criminally underrated.
One last Thing...You Should Beware the Content!!

Thank God that you........ love..... at all.

I highly doubt she's heard anything considering absolutely no info has leaked so far. If it's at the point they're letting anyone outside the band/producer hear anything you'd think we'd have something by this point instead of nothing.

It's JUNE (!) now. For the sake of all our collective sanity, let's hope, no, PRAY we'll start seeing something forming on the horizon soon.

It's not totally off base to be honest.

Incubus recently had a media listening event for their new album, and they aren't releasing it until October. So it's definitely possible that some music journalists have heard it, and are probably bound by NDA.

Thankfully we have the EU tour starting very soon, which could at the very least give us some updates. I hope whoever gets the chance to say something to them asks them about the album. Best case scenario is we get a new song played live in a show which is not likely but could happen.

Here's how I want the new album/single teased/revealed.

A video post on social media and it just says "Friday"... fades out.. "deftones.com"

Then when Friday comes around, it's an unlisted video, untitled, and it's the first single. After the first hour of the video release, then everything has revealed, album title, track list, album art etc and release date
