Fudge donuts! Man, that's the 3 songs I was hoping they'd play when I went to see them!

That guy is a jammy bastard! As is The Captain (that was the same show right?)

The Captain

Sorry, I didn't come back, I should've said a lil somethin'...

Jeff was rockin' his deftones SACTO, CA windbreaker that night and I was like "Jeff, I keep hearin about a tour with these guys, TELL ME it's gonna happen" and he smiled and said they were trying, they were supposed to be on TOC, but it didn't work out and now both of them are just focusing on finishing their albums. So yeah...they want it, but it might not work out.

Still cool to know. Besides, might not be the summer. If they still want to, what about fall/winter?

Can't recal if I replied or not, but, WHVN is not their first album. This is the timeline;
1995 - 6 track demo.
1996 - Selftitled EP.
1997 - 'El Diablo' (first full length).
1999 - 'WHVN'.
2000 - 'Best Song On Here' 4 track demo.
2001 - 'Carpe Diem'.
2002 - 'Carpe Diem' single.
2003 - Selftitled EP rerelease & 'Foreign Films' DVD.
2006 - New album...

There is no bside to "I've Seen My Fate" as it was never a single.
For more information, check my site.

well, I don't recognize that song.... here's where I found it, on the Carpe Diem Single

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000632KA/qid=1145368328/sr=1-5/ref=sr_1_5/104-6746878-8931935?v=glance&s=music

highlighted from your post is what Im looking for.

Also note that that Live audio show you have, the links are dead.  Bummer cuz I was surprised to see that.

Martin

You can get the origenal selftitled EP fairly easy through ebay and such.
WHVN is available through most mailorders.

Ah so you meant the b-sides to the 'Carpe Diem' single...well, both bsides ("Saga" and "I've Seen My Fate") were recorded live in the BBC studios. I'll upload them when I'm home again (tomorrow).

I am aware that the links to the show are dead; posted it on my frontpage (which is also down for an hour; exceeded the allowed file transfer). Working on it 8)

I've noticed as well, that all the WH releases have been re-released on Golf Records, here in UK. I went to Avalanche the other day, and the only one I need (S/T ep) is the only one they didnt have though, which sucks!

Martin

That's right, totally forgat that...they're rereleased in special packaging.

Chrisbo

Yeah that's it, with the cardboard cases around them. Thing is, I normally take them off anyway, so it doesnt really make much difference to me. They were selling them for the same price as a new release, £11.99. I thought they might have been a bit cheaper than that.

Martin

Yeah, I guess...
I love cardboard cases, especially if I manage not to scratch them in anyway haha

Chrisbo

Well I keep them all, one of the drawers in my cupboard is full of them. Just the shitty racks I have scratch them and rip them up because they dont fit in well enough. Maybe I should get some new racks, because yeah, I do actually like to have them on.

Forgat to upload the tracks. If someone else wants to do it, go ahead, otherwise, it'll be later.

sorry to change subject but i just watched 25min of Will haven DVD : Foreign Films, now i got to say what the fuck lol, some wierd stuff; like porn images and some fast dude is getting off with another girl and taking off het bra!

Also i saw some immachure/silly things they did, especially Grady when i met him this year at the peel he seemed to me so serious and had very grown up sence of humor, but god after this footage i dunno kinda wierd to think these dudes that i saw in 2006 are the same ppl on dvd, maybe they have grown up.

heh im a bit shcoked!

Martin

It suprised me too, the first time I saw that DVD.
But then I realised; no human being is either 100% serious or funny or whatever. Everybody has different sides. So, while Grady is obviously very serious about music and his lyrics are about serious issues he dealt or deals with, doesn't mean the man can't have sense of humour.

QuoteWhich band do you think should break up today?

Here Cayle Hunter's eyes gleam at the thought and without hesitation he picks out Hawthorne Heights. "That band should never have got out of the garage. Can I pick them to die horribly rather than just split up even?" And Mike Martin ups the ante even more. "Can we just pick a whole genre of music to die?".

Too right!

It's cool they mention like Soundgarden and Helmet and that too, crazy good bands who I'd love to see again. Cool interview!
