extreme
gaining speed,
throwing caution
to the wind,
this momentum will be
the death of us all.
-
labels
some labels
are hard to remove,
as if the person,
who stuck them to you,
used too strong a glue.
-
clarity from wonder
rediscover that
childlike wonder
that caused you
to ask so many
questions as a kid.

Box
Look, the box,
With its own place,
Is what it is,
Quite different,
Within the same.
-
digital me
getting out
in the digital world,
i wonder if i'll ever
be able to share myself,
with anyone who can't
look into my eyes
or hear my voice.
and, i wonder,
who do they see?

Joyful Whims
Most of the time
I would just watch and listen.
She never said anything very profound,
but what I heard
was not the words themselves,
but the spirit in which
she carried herself,
as if she were a bird
taking wing on the wind,
and it gave her the lift
that made her soar.
It was life to me,
reminding me of real joy,
and expressing it,
and all for love.
Though she said little
of much importance,
it was her spirit I heard,
and it woke the similar in me,
that pure whim
where we let ourselves fly.

Shine
The Sun Shines For Us,
But Doesn't Know Its Worth.
-
city life
coming and going,
streets pulsing
like heartbeats;
so many people
pushing the city life.
-
waves
i am
the waves
rent upon
the rocks.
-
early heavens
i can only imagine
the beginning,
when the heavens
came to be,
and stars appeared
in the expanse,
spreading far and wide,
almost as if
i can see them,
blinking in
and out of sight,
like lightning bugs
are wont to do
on a pleasant
summer evening,
vibrantly flashing,
here and there,
and burning out
just as suddenly
as they appeared.
-
rest
i leave
my failings
behind,
like a ship
to harbor,
fleeing
relentless
storms,
and find shelter
in the arms
of love.

digital me
getting out
in the digital world,
i wonder if i'll ever
be able to share myself,
with anyone who can't
look into my eyes
or hear my voice.
and, i wonder,
who do they see?
I call it abstract art lulz
-
influence
you'll never find
a better me,
than when I'm
with you.
-
resounding silence
how could i know
what you think,
how you feel,
or where you stand
in it all?
to know little more
than what i see
before me,
i imagine i could
fill the empty space
with anything
i'd rather imagine,
yet, i'm certain that
will never bid me well,
when i'm so afraid
to lose your favor.
-
at the end of the day
looking back,
today, surely,
made its stamp.
i think,
'what a day!'
but, then,
come to think,
yesterday
helped set
the course.
i say,
'that, too,
should be praised!'
