I stumbled across this message board on accident (looking for John Zorn stuff), and I have to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for EVERYTHING in this thread. I've been a Faith no More fan since "The Real Thing" first came out (I even got lines in my hair like Patton, el oh el), and I've been a fan ever since. Until today, I've had all of their albums, all of Bungle's efforts (including demos and such), Patton's "Adult Themes" and "Pranzo", the "Irony" EP, all 3 of Tomahawk's records, all of Fantomas' records, Zorn's "Moonchild", "Astronome", "Weird Little Boy"and "Hemophiliac", the Maldoror album, Gen. Patton vs. the X-Ecutioners, and I'm sure there's some stuff I've forgotten about, but this thread has completed everything I've been unable to find ('Light Up and Let Go', 'Greenfields' and a couple of other singles). I just wanted to say THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU. I didn't see these in the thread, so I'll contribute a little something, but if these are re-posts, I do apologize, but I feel like a kid in a candy store with an unlimited shopping allowance. I seriously can't thank all of you enough. Another crazy live project is Patton & Zu. Zu it is a free jazz band, pretty cool with great drummer. Also you can check live videos from Italy on youtube Anyway I can't wait anymore for new Fanotmas album

Random fact : While partying my ass off in Taiwan this week end, they fucking played "Epic" from Faith No More !!!!! It was just normal regular club with usual "shitty" club music : RnB, etc. but for some unknown reason they fucking played this song at one point ! So cool...

Hmmm, pretty cool. Maybe in Taiwan , they still consider it to be "hot" shit.
otherwise, i really hope Patton feels like working on a rock project again. His blend of faux hip-hop beats dont really catch my ear's attention

Im patiently waiting the Fantomas album too. but from interviews ive seen , he claims its a bit far off, because of his other projects, but it is happening within 2008/2009 period. still a while to wait , but it think its always worth it for fantomas.

Tomahawk are a bit, hit and miss for too, i think some of the stuff, like mescal rites, that type of vibe, but, Fantomas, FNM, Mr Bungle are my favorite works that Patton has done.
actually the Kaada/Patton collab is quite interesting too
