When asked what's been keeping him busy, he brings up his forthcoming collaboration with Dan the Automator for a record he'd previously described as "DMX for white people."

this sounds really interesting...

Pop this into Google translate

Lineup:

Mike Patton - Manipulaciones Mike Patton - Manipulations

Historia History

I have no doubt that the overwhelming majority of public Patton people are restless, curious and musically insatiable. But sometimes I wonder whether there will be no more than a systematically conditioned to applaud each and every one of their businesses, which are descabelladas. Not explained in a different way that there are people willing to pay the slightest attention to Feedback Etudes.

This is a solo project for Patton, a composition random ironically titled Music for 7 amplifiers. The musician puts several amplifiers on the stage, interacting with each other and, through a mixer, seeks to rectify, control and equalize the resulting feedback. Shortly unless the sadistic version of Short Wave of Karlheinz Stockhausen.

The result has little to do with the work of other crackpots like Merzbow, as the landscapes of ruidistas Patton with Feedback Etudes are so flat, tedious, endlessly varied little sustained and that no impression of being in a creative, but before a roadie in distress. In addition, these actions threaten to produce a variety of severe injury in the eardrum. Still, at the end of the shows there are people who applauded.

I take that you've all had a look through this? -:

It's a massive dex with more rare Bungle, Patton, Zorn, Ruins and other than you could imagine. It is the best that I've ever come across by a long way. Both Feedbacketudes are in there, as is the Maldoror live shows. This dex is fast too.
