Why the lack of Live Covers recently?

Anyone notice they're not playing covers so much anymore? Back like 10 years ago they were playing Say it Ain't So, Chauffeur, and whatever else I can't think of.

Any covers you'd like to see them do, from the Covers LP or anything else?

I think its because they arn't even playing a varied setlist recently. I mean, when they don't even play Bored live, the chances that they'll be doing any covers are low. I personally think it may be because Sergio is in the band. Maybe they played covers because the songs they were playing had a sentimental value to each member of the band, and now Chi is absent, it don't feel right?
Or maybe it's cuz they just dont have time anymore. Think back to when they played a lot of covers live; 15 - 02. They didnt have 6 albums worth of songs to cram into a setlist.  Their ego's could be telling them to only play their songs (in particularly  their most popular ones) because they have a completely new fanbase now, what with the release of DE.
Thats just a thought, I dunno. Maybe they're into Kate Perry now XD

Yeah, I would think it's simply the matter of having so much material to choose from.  In Orlando last night, it was a great mix of all the albums.  No time for covers.

Billy, what is your gif taken from?

Damn!  I'm a new fan of the band but can't believe I didn't know they shot a video of that.  Thanks.

He has enough Katy Perry in it right now :D
The Beastie Boys aswell so he has to figure a way to reimplement it somehow
