This cd is shaping up to be very front heavy, meaning the first few songs.  I just hope they've balanced out the dynamics well for the whole album and there's some aggression and plenty of edge for the latter parts.  Unlike Diamond Eyes, which was disappointing in that regard.

Production stayed the same as DE with Nick's hands on it, Deftones evolved but you can clearly categorize them together to be close unlike the other stuff with Terry, which always seemed very different especially from ATF to S/T

Ah, Deftones, you never disappoint me. I liked DE, but this beats the shit outta Rocket Skates in terms of heaviness. Ah, just pure awesomeness. Fuck, I'm excited for this album. Also, if Chino is playing guitar on this song: lmao at people saying all the songs would be like Sextape.

Dare I say it? The excitement for this album is much, much higher for me than it was for DE. I dont know why, I guess because the band have been so silent, and then we're hit with this brutal, heavy song and some fucking awesome artwork. And let's face it, this is much heavier than anything on DE at all, so I really wasnt expecting this. Ugh, I have to stop speaking, it's awesome, I wont shut up, but I do love the direction they're going in with the intros; it's Deftones, yet it's them having a different sound, going in different paths. Me gusta.

I've listened to it 5 times now......The intro is dope (very team sleep) and the guitar riffs is killer on this track........however the chorus (with the singing in the background of the singing) makes the song feel a little too Hot Topic-ish for me. Some good screams though.  7/10.
