Of course! i have the CD preordered. I'm on the fence with the vinyl, at the moment I don't have a record player, but i looks so cool in the photos that i'm tihnking on buying it just for the looks. What's your opinion on the vinyls? worth the extra money?

Stop listening to watch the football, but cant stop thinking about the album, or the songs that got into my head like (L)mirl, Hearts/Wires, Rubicon and Gore.

I have not really let Acid Hologram, Geometric Headress, Pittura Infamante, Xenon and Phantom Bride in yet and can't wait to venture through those with a bottle of red later

Totally agree with you on the immediate album standouts. LMIRL, Gore, Hearts/Wires, and Rubicon really grab you as soon as they get going. There are a lot of growers on this album too which gives it good sustaining value. Really glad i didnt get into Xenon, Pittura Infamante, or Geometric Headdress right away as it allows me to rediscover them over the next few years.

Really hope they play Rubicon live. Would love to hear a Gore live set of Prayers/Triangles, Doomed User, Hearts/Wires, Gore, and Rubicon from the new album.

Not getting my hopes up about Gore or Rubicon though. Gore because it would absolutely fuck Chinos voice plus he said it was his least favorite, and Rubicon because when was the last time they consistently played an album closer on tour?

They've played 7 Words like 5000 times and Chino hates it. They could very well play Gore. As for it being too much for his voice, they play Hexagram often, and they played WGTB a lot.

I just saw deftones in dallas the other day, his voice is perfect. He yells and enjoys it, saying Gore will mess up his voice is not true lol he has the ability to do it consistently now lol
