Hahaha. Our guitar player loves nu metal. Thats his house. But he's also a big fan of black metal, death metal, prog rock and tons of other stuff. We all bring in something different. Certainly none of us want to play nu metal though.

Hahaha. I make fun of him for it all the time but whatever, he loves it. We play house shows down there all the time (the room is a lot bigger than it looks) and we just put giant curtain up behind the drums.
