Well, the EP was alright. The vocals turned me off in the beginning and continued to do that afterwards as well. The vocals had its good moments as well and so did the music. The music was at times good at times it didn't really do much for me. I'll download their new album though, just to see if they've progressed from what the EP was. Overall, this band reminds me of a band called Facing New York. In some ways at least. They're great by the way. But I gotta listen to Crystal Antlers new album, to see what it's like. I can see why you would like Crystal Antlers though, they have something that grabs you in a way. But maybe not my cup of tea.

Wax Tailor - Hope & Sorrow
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=f9kv0t5f
Trip Hop/Hip Hop by a French guy Jean-Christophe Le Saoűt.

Awesome Trip Hop/Hip Hop with great beats, great melodies, some female vocals, female and male rappers and samples from movies. Something that you've probably never heard before, I hope you enjoy it.

Facing New York - Facing New York
http://www.filestube.com/e11260a091d2781e03e9/go.html
Experimental/Indie Rock with beautiful melodies and intriguing song structures. They could become something great.

This band is also fairly unknown, currently on hiatus but I hope they return. Not sure which band to compare them to, musically I find similarities to For The Mathematics.

I actually just came across this band this morning

Omatic -"Capital beard? The venerable would"

http://foetalorange.blogspot.com/2009/03/omatic-capital-beard-venerable-would.html

the download link is just below the band description.

*im just listening to it. i like it, the singer has a great voice and they are really talented, but it may be a little too chaotic for me...
check it out its real jazzy like, song structures and all.

-I think this is a really great album but you may have heard about them already

Sunny Day Real-Estate -"how it feels to be something on"

http://www.mediafire.com/?2mnyymmklnn

Gregor Samsa -"open air" (2009)
great ambient and beautiful, soft and moving

http://rapidshare.com/files/213358548/gs-oa.rar

Long Distance Calling -"avoid the light" (2009)
instrumental post metal. really good!

I checked out Coliseum. Well, the vocals were not my thing and musically it didn't really do much for me.

wither-I, Sunny Day Real Estate I have heard of and I have always enjoyed that album you also posted. I shall try your recommendation of Omatic next.

Thanks for the tips man!

You know I have that Division Day album but it's just one of those albums which I didnt have time to properly check out. Gonna give it a better listen, listening to it now again. Also, I downloaded the Bedroom Heroes album a couple of times before but both times got this error while unzipping it so I figured I'm not gonna find a working version of it. Found it now again, I'll download it again and hope that this version works.

The other albums I shall check out as well. I'll give you my thoughts on all that I will enjoy.  Division Day sounds good at the moment, this band reminds me of Facing New York as well for some reason. Check it out if you didnt. Oh, and if you downloaded Bonobo and Wax Tailor, what did ya think of them?

Edit: Heh, I found the Bedroom Heroes from my computer from 2007, so I got it working during those error messages anyways. Now that I listen to it again I remember how I used to listen to it before. A great album that's for sure.

wither-I, Omatic sounds great man! Amazingly chaotic like you said, but manages to impress with everything that's going on. The vocals are great, the guitars and the drums too, thanks for the recommendation man! I don't really know which bands to compare this band to, this is something totally different. It's a great feeling when all the songs on the album catch you off guard and you just have to wait what's gonna happen next. Brilliant!

Oh, sorry bro, I thought it was just a joke hehe. But now that I know that it is not, I shall deliver, I promise you that! I still have to decide what you mean by desert-ish, heh, but I think I have a band that will fit your desciption. I'll post something tomorrow evening.
