Far’s new collector’s-edition 7” picture disc – check out that sexy little pony – will be released to the masses in the United Kingdom just in time for the Valentine’s Day. We can’t think of a more perfect ballad for love and sex.

The band’s grunge-tastic cover of Ginuwine’s “Pony” (plus a B-side heart-string tugging acoustic version for the sap fans out there) will be available in retail shops in the UK February 1st. Keep your eyes opened and ears perked to find out exactly where, UK. Far is riding into town.

And those cheeky Brits who are paying attention have already caught “Pony” getting some love by early believer Daniel P. Carter on the BBC Radio One Rock Show.

Here in the good ol’ US of A, Live105, KROC and the usual alt-rock suspects have been snapping “Pony” up and adding the track to their programs like it’s the last of the Chex Mix at a crappy office party.

SPECIAL NEWS BULLETIN! The limited run import we offered here in the U.S. is - DOH! - sold out. U.S. fans will have their next chance to get this rare 7” on February 1st from the U.K.
