why is everyone mad about the new album coming out late? Its not like your waiting for Tool! Deftones will get it done when they can, shit comes up and they cant do everything they or you want them to. They are people too, they got other shit to do! The only thing that bothers me is the lack of info and updates.  I wish they would do what dredg did with the new album with the videos and shit.  They tried with the studio updates but then that shit failed.  That shit pisses me off.  But whatever, we get it when we get it.  Im sure it will be worth the fucking wait.

thx for agreeing, but i didnt mean to imply that i didnt care for the new album, i want that muther fucker like no other, but its just not coming when WE want it. Deftones said it themselves, they write for themselves.

havent been on the board for a while, but ive been reading up on the last couple of pages..
what the hell is the deal with you people, man?
i joined here to talk to every conceivable deftones fan around the world. 'likeminded' people, so to speak.
instead i come back to check up on some news and some old forum friends, and i find these bitter greedy people around here!
okay im overreacting, but cmon people..
deftones have ALWAYS been slow when it comes to album releases. and even now, when Chi is in a coma and all, you STILL want to bitch about it?  seriously?
i dont know why but that really dissapoints me somehow.
Personally, im happy that the dudes still keep on playing, after all the shit the band's been through. Im extremely thankful that i at least get the chance to see em again in Amsterdam, and to get another one of their albums, PERIOD.

what does everyone predict eros will sell it's first week?

i'm gonna say 45,000 the first week. snw only did 76,000 the first week, and cd sales are way worse now than even then. long gone are the days they could threaten 200,000 in a debut week. in the past 4 years only piece of dog shit nickelback have seen sales goes up, WAY UP. people are morons

really, i cant believe they updated it as much as they did, way back(which wasnt much). and i never thought for even 1 second it would come out in 2008
