twilight zone, it's like all the S/T diehards on earth all came here, and only here. it's widely considered their worst album by the rest of the planet, and the band themselves. i never heard anyone outside this board say it's their best. i like it, but i find it bizzare you all think the same. join us.... join us... join us

For a second there I thought I was on a thread about the S/T album. lol.    I like S/T but it's for sure not my fave. It's Stephs album and I know I've read interviews where Chino said he wasn't that happy with it. But still... Better then 99% of albums ever made so it's still fucking awesome

So... I haven't listened to D/E yet. I'm holding out. But which of the Tones past album do you think it sounds the most like? (I mean I'm sure it's totally different.) But if you HAD to choose?

Chinos voice sounds so different from the linus days.  Gift / Guest is my favorite from the demos his voice is pretty magical on that one.
Chi's intro bass line gets me everytime.
But seriously if you listen to  those demos and then listen to diamond eyes now way you would think it was the same band.

And when chinos on its nothing short of amazing.

Gift / Guest - it's the same song with the alternate name or two different songs?

WP if had had to compair it. the boy's republic kinda vibe on some tracks. but it's pretty different, mainly Chino bringing so many fresh melodies, and his vocals my be the best on any album. he really brings it
