The Civil Wars

This is a really good and interesting folk duo.  Some of their songs lean more toward country I think but they're more considered folk.  The guy and especially girl have incredible voices and they blend beautifully together.  They made a Grammy award winning album called Barton Hollow in 2011 and just released a self titled album a week ago.  Interestingly, they just went on hiatus in November 2012 and cited "internal discord and irreconcilable differences of ambition", yet they just released an album.  It would seem they are broken up and there's implication in some lyrics and rumours that they might have romantic issues and they're both married to different people.  So I don't know what's going on but I know that their issues made for a far more grabbing album than their debut in my opinion.  Their debut has a really nice and unique sound I think but their new one does a lot more for me.
