ah damn, that's horrible my condolences...

i love my dog more than anything...can't imagine the day when she's not around anymore.

It's the worst feeling. I couldn't go to have her put to sleep (cause I just can't keep it together when I think of her gone),so my son and husband did. They said when she came out she was soo happy....but it didn't matter. She had heart disease and was going into failure. I just couldn't prolong her suffering. I know what I did was right,but fuck this hurts. I had her almost 11 years....before my kids.

my most honest condolences..
my dog now is 11 years old, she is such a smart and nice dog, but I am also so afraid - it is quite obvious that all things die when they have to, I am afraid that time will come too early.

We put our dog to sleep a few years ago and i remember it sucked badly. Personally i didn't think it was that bad after we put it down, but from the moment you realize it's going to have to happen soon, like a few weeks before, that period really sucks. I felt kinda relieved actually when it was over.

I wish I had had a few weeks warning. This all started last night,it was soo sudden,I had no idea she had heart disease or was in failure until it was happening. But I knew whatever it was it was bad,and I loved on her a lot last night,and she stayed right by my side all night.

Now my daughter is talking about getting a new dog,i don't think I'll get another one though.
