What I wonder is if we'll have the other intro on the album, the one they played live before Root. It was actually played and not just a recording like H/W, so it could have bypassed youtube's auto-detection, but we're not sure. But it kicks ass.

I really hope that piece is on the album. sounds like something that would sound cool as the beginning of the closing track of the album. don't think it is though, just saying. hell just put in anywhere on the record it's awesome

Oh yeah, I remember that. I think some people speculated it was the beginning of (L)MIRL based on how it sounds. I guess it could be Acid Hologram too, I think that was described as a dark and heavy song. Could be anything though, right? Hell, might not even be from the album, haha, but since they used Hearts/Wires, it must be. Eh, not really a fan of the pre-Root intro, but maybe it's because of the audio quality, but just seems a bit repetitive to me.
