So im trying to do my best to make some 5.1 remixes of all of the songs, and i wanted to know what you think of it.  I was NOT a fan of the ones that was made this year, and i wanted to make my own. Im doing Gore and S/T (with Lovers), and i wanted to test some of them out to see how they sounded to you guys, and improvements and advice to make them sound better

So here are a few quick test of them
the first 3 were used with the multitracks and the last 3 are the ones i just made myself

My Own Summer
Minerva
Cherry Waves

Be Quiet and Drive
Hexagram
(L)MIRL

Knucklestones

Listening to MOS. Drums are a bit loud and the guitar needs to be a little louder.

The audio quality is pretty low, too. If you're using audacity, make sure to save the mp3s as 320kbps.

Cherry Waves is sounding really good!

Okay thanks, ill keep it in mind

I like what you've done with LMIRL, not especially keen on the others (though I think that's partly to do with audio quality).

Its party because they are WAV files.  What should i use to make it better?

I agree completely. LMIRL sounds better.

The first three were kind of different.  Hit and miss.

The last three (that you mixed yourself, as you put it), sounds very interesting.  I would call it "Let's not hide Chino's voice anymore" mix.  It's a breath of fresh air, and I like them.  But I also like, just as much, the album mix of these too just as much.  Very surprised you were able to do something intriguing with manipulating the Self-Titled mix, because that is my favorite Deftones album--and I attribute that alot to the production style of Terry Date.  The mixing on that album is by far the best...maybe a close second would be Around the Fur.

Very cool, sir!

Actually I have S/T ready for downloads soon, With lovers in the mix too
