Love the song title by the way. It's very unique for a Deftones' title. Chino doesn't typically go for long titles; with a few exceptions. Can't wait to hear it. Initially it sounds like a heavy song but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up falling into the more grand Minerva-esque side of their soundscape.

Yea I'm kinda hoping they go back to more slower Minerva-esque Single but it's unlikely. Most of their singles of recent have been really radio friendly.

Apparently there's someone on Reddit/Twitter that has leaked the album and single titles. Not sure if it's credible or not but someone is vouching for the leakers past "hit" rate.

Check the most recent post on the Deftones subreddit if you're curious. I don't want to post it here incase anyone is avoiding spoilers but I think it could be legit.

Also, remember that sometime after Chi passed away, Chino said Chi was "a mountain of a man". I like to think it is a reference to that. SO. FUCKING. HYPED!

As much as I like Ohms, my one hang up with it is that it lacks any truly beautiful songs such as Minerva. I feel like there's so many I can name from the WP-KNY period and they're a big reason I love Deftones as much as I do. I still want the heavier stuff, I just hope they don't shy away from including songs akin to stuff like Entombed, 976-Evil, Riviere, etc. Not that I necessarily want them to retread water playing the same sort of stuff for forever, I just don't want them to lose that more tender side they have.

That being said, I'm excited for whatever they decide to give us and I have a feeling this is going to a special album.

Pompeji was the truly beautiful song on Ohms (and what a song if you want my opinion...... ok nobody asked for it....).

So I did something editing on cap cut and overlayed both new images and lighted spliced it so I could see what fret stef is playing on. Its either the 11th, 12th or 13th fret [yes 30 minutes of work for that] [i feel like its more the 11th or 12th fret]
