since the "indie/emo/whatev" thread is gone, ive started a new one, so everyone post indie bands that should be checked out by everyone, with a little describtion about them.
Blonde Redhead - Get the album Misery Is A Butterfly, or the song "Hated Because Of Great Qualities."
Codeseven - Their new album "Dancing Echoes/Dead Sounds" leaked and its amazing, or "The Rescue" is a good album to hear.
Animal Collective - "Sung Tongs" is a cool album, i cant really describe this band, theyre weird.
Xiu Xiu - "Fabulous Muscles" is a good album to listen to first, its the most emotional music ive ever hear, it could scare some people.
then a list of others im too lazy to write about.

I always love these Indie bands:
Desaparecidos The side project of Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst is pure rock n roll and will be appreciated by everyone who likes bands like Dinosaur Jr and The Pixies. Their record, Read Music - Speak Spanish is a great fucking album about money and the state of the world.
The Good Life, Cursive, the list goes on...
