-Minor Threat -Bad Brains -Will Haven -Vision Of Disorder -Glassjaw (in a way) -Far From Within (  ) -Earth Crisis -Strife -Madball -Hatebreed -Sworn Enemy (some songs i like) -Northside Kings -Candiria -Blood Simple -Snapcase -Refused -Dillinger Escape Plan -Blood Brothers -Throwdown -Poison The Well (not a huge fan though) some other bands border on the hardcore line too that i like Far,Deftones,Soulfly,Snot,AFI etc. |

American Nightmare, anyone? actually man to tell you the truth. most straight up or traditional hardcore bands (like american nightmare) put me to sleep. the vocals are awful and the music itself is just boring. i like massive breakdowns and something i can knock a sucka's teeth out to. every now and again i'll throw in a give up the ghost, modern life is war, the takeover, or a bane cd in but i just like the metal influenced stuff a lot more. just cause it isnt taditional core or straight up, doesnt mean it isnt hardcore. Okay first up I'm a girl. Second of all you read me all wrong, I guess I should have elaborated. I wasn't questioning what people thought hardcore was, I really just meant that what some people define as hardcore seems weird to me, because I wouldn't class it as hardcore. It doesn't mean they're wrong, it merely means we differ in opinion. |
