I can't even take that shit seriously. Three sentences is not a fucking review. These dipshits actually get paid for this?

'dreadlock metal'    is this 2010 or the late 90s     shit review, yes     im betting the review in the mag is with other bands they dont consider really famous and big  hence the length  and what was said was about what i expected from rs......

Cant really read a review by a magizine that said Led Zepplin was shit

Wax And Wane

Holy fuck! How can Rolling Stone always give them a shit review. ???  I knew they'd do this again. They gave WP a 3 also if I remember right. And that went on to win a Motherfuckin Grammy!  ;D

They gave Nevermind by Nirvana a 3 and well we all know what Nevermind ended up doing in the 90's.

Alright. I had no success on the "ATTN collectors...etc." thread, so I'll copy my post and paste it here. Come on everybody, I need your help! ;)

"I must confess it: I haven't got my copy yet. My music shop always takes a lifetime to get new cds but, somehow, they always have the best prices in town, so I don't complain too much. Since I got the censored version of SNW from there, and I'd like a normal copy of DE, how do I recognise it? And listening to it, whichn parts would be censored, besides "fuck with me" in Rocket Skates?  "

I wanted to listen to the album a few times before I responded to it. I spent all of Wednesday just listening to it non-stop, and I realized that there is a running theme with the melodies. Each track sounds different, but the melodies are very similar to each other which I like. It feels as if it ties the whole album together. I also like the hard/soft contrast just throughout the album or through one song. Currently my favorite songs off the album are "Rocket Skates", "Beauty School" and "You've Seen the Butcher".

And like many Deftones albums, you definitely can sense sexuality in this album. This might be a bold statement, but this album might be sexier than White Pony:o

i say the band should start writing new stuff after they're done touring Diamond eyes. Even though Eros is done, it doesnt mean they should stop now

I was thinking they should release Eros after this tour is over, that would hold the fans over for awhile. And then go take and their time and craft an amazing record. I love Diamond Eyes but some song feel like they could have been worked on a little more.

yeah i agree with u, the songs could have been worked on a little more but i noticed though some songs sounds complete as opposed to others..like rocket skates had a breakdown unlike 976-Evil, this place is death..but I like how Steph is makin his presence on this record

Metro review!  ;)

Melodic, yet hard as fuck

A new album of Californian metal band Deftones is always a surprise. After two more experimental efforts, Deftones return back to the glory days of their insane debut 'Adrenaline', combined with the more accessible 'White Pony'.
In that way, 'Royal' wouldn't be misplaced on 'Adrenaline', while vocalist Chino Moreno shows his most melodic side on the fantastic opener 'Diamond Eyes', without ever making the impression that Deftones became soft.
Because don't be wrong, the gentlemen combine melodic and hard a fuck like no other.

Prince has really been growing on me lately. Awesome song.
